According to the American Museum of Natural History, natural disasters make very small but noticeable changes. The text says, “An earthquake can split the ground in a few seconds. Lava from a volcanic eruption can spread over the side of a volcano in minutes. A heavy rainstorm can flood a neighborhood in a day.”

The earth has changed over evolution. One way the earth has changed with evolution is with plants and animals. We know this because we find fossils of older animals and we see how the animals are today. For example we found fossils of an older whale and that a whale once had legs but over time the animals has changed because of how the earth changed and adapted to their new environment and their food may of moved to land or in water so then their body changed and now we know a whale as the modern day whale that swims in the ocean.

The earth has obviously evolved over time. According to Encyclopedia Britannica, the earth’s rock layers are evidence of evolution. They say “The layers of rock at Earth’s surface contain evidence of the evolutionary processes undergone by these components of the terrestrial environment during the times at which each layer was formed. By studying this rock record from the very beginning, it is thus possible to trace their development and the resultant changes through time.”
