Some predictions were:
- The car might break down due to the rain: the prediction is made based on the fact that the setting and background is given and the scene is set for action or a problem.
- Point 9 and 5: based on plot structure, context - The idea of a journey, long drive, the conversation - waiting for dad, younger sister, previous conditioning about rain and it's association with trouble makes us predict that they will probably face a problem.
- The mother delivers the baby in the car, in the rain
- The girl is kidnapped, lost
- They get stuck in the rain and have to spend the night in the woods or in their car
- Maybe nothing happens. The rain stops, sun comes out and they reach home.
- They take a wrong turn and reach a new place.

We all agreed that the story seemed to have a certain gloominess in the atmosphere. The Peaceheaven sign seemed to be significant to the story. She is trying her best to engage the child in maintaining the joy inside the car by bringing her attention to the landscape, events around, thinking about the name of the unborn baby sister.
