Creating design is a major part of Architecture but, it is not limited there. In Architecture, the form should follow the function. The form and the design of a certain building should be related to what the building is for. For example, inside a church, the altar is in the middle-front and is usually seen from the entrance. It is designed as such, so that it will be the first thing that people will see once they enter the church. It is in the center because it should be the focus of the church since it is believed that in the altar is where God is. 
2. Although it is true that Architecture is a technical practice, it surely, is not limited to it.  Since, it still requires  creativity and wisdom. Architecture is a mixture of aesthetics and utility. Every design, every part, every color, and every element of a certain architecture should have at least, a practical sense to it. In architecture, a building should be beautiful and at the same time, useful. Unlike Engineering and other technical professions, one of the main goals of Architecture is delight and visual pleasure of the people who will see the building.  
3. After learning the history of Architecture, I could not believe that it was a concept that already existed in the Classical Era. I also learned that majority of the design of buildings today still had some elements which can be traced back to the era of the Greeks and Romans - such as the concept of columns and arches.
