When I told my cousin that you were gonna be my adviser, she was so excited she told me how good of a teacher you are and how fun your discussions are. Even though she had you when she was online (last year but now you are still her teacher [Ellyce Co]) she still enjoyed your class and that told me how good of a teacher you are because I knew if a teacher who teaches online can teach that good, then shes REALLY GOOD and you are! She also told me how easy it is to understand your lessons when you teach them. I am so lucky to have a teacher as kind, caring, understanding and thoughtful as you. Thank you for your boundless patience, empathy and enthusiasm. I enjoy our AP classes more than before. You make it so lively and fun. Your discussions are so interesting and unlike before, I used to not like taking notes and I would "listen" but now, I actually listen and I surprisingly enjoy taking notes. (even though my handwriting is awful cuz I haven't written notes in 2 years but people say Even though sometimes you get mad at us for being noisy or standing up during transfer time, but i'm sure we can all agree that we are grateful to have you as an adviser. When Summer and my other friends in gr8 told me how exciting you were I was very excited for you to be our advisor. She told me how kind you were, the best ap teacher she had and more. Dear Ms. Liquigan,

Are you an egg for breakfast? Because every time our class sees you our smiles become a sunny side up :) I also have some bad news... Sorry, cher, I can't look at you. I was told to not look directly at the sun, you're too bright. Let's hope the sun doesn't get in the way when you drive. Do you drive often? If you do, I hope all lights are green so you can drive quickly to our classroom. When you do arrive at our classroom, the class needs to greet you properly. I don't think your name is "Ms. Liquigan." I think it's "Ms. The-best-teacher-ever-Liquigan." Speaking of misspellings, In English class, I misspelled "world." I forgot I was supposed to write "Ms. Liquigan" instead. Ugh, don't get me started on the fact that even without eating in recess, I still get diabetes! Your classes are too sweet. The faculty says the EM routine is supposed to calm us but it just shows that they've never had a Homeroom period with you.

Stepping into class for the first, I noticed that you were a bit... scary, honestly. After a few sessions, I realized you are still scary. Scarily amazing. You're a very heartwarming and welcoming teacher to everyone, and super considerate to us.

Thank you for always believing in us and encouraging us to have our fullest potential. You are not only just cheering from the sidelines but are also coaching us right beside where we seat. It's been less than a full school year, yet it felt eternities passed. So many things have happened, and there's yet more to come. I'm very excited to see what will happen next.

You are a big inspiration for me, I want to be someone like you in the future. Every lesson you teach is engraved in my mind. I'm sure I'll remember the sessions and memorable classes with Unishrekity in the future. When I make mistakes, please correct me to help me improve.

To my loving adviser,

I see my classmates making letters and gratitude notes so I'll just try my best to write what I can because I'm not as creative as the other people who wrote here. I'll want to remain anonymous because I'm a little shy. Please understand and I hope that you won't get too bored with this because I'm a really plain person when I write. Thank you.

First off, I want to check on how you're doing because I know that being a teacher can be hard and I understand that. Teaching one student who could have a hard time understanding the lesson is difficult enough, let alone multiple classes with tons of students. Indeed, teaching is not just a job, but a talent. Everyone has a unique way of learning, understanding, and feeling of a lesson. It makes it harder for teachers to try to make the lecture fun enough for students to keep their eyes on the presentation, at the same time easy enough to read for those who have a slower pace at learning but contain enough information to fulfill the entire unit. I hope that you're still healthy emotionally, physically, and mentally and that you can still handle our class despite how naughty or stubborn we may be.

Next, I'd like to say thank you. I know you may be hearing this extremely often because it's such a common word of gratitude but I feel that it is necessary. The ability you have to stay so passionate about the things you teach and how you can cope with some of our crazy behaviors is wonderful. It is quite rare to find teachers who show so much enthusiasm and passion in their talks and presentations-- I'm proud to say that you are definitely a teacher who most people would want in their high school journey. I appreciate your hard work and Unishrekity is very much obliged to have you as our adviser.

Lastly, I want to go on a more personal level. Since I'm anonymous anyway, I could say that my grades have always been really high whether I try or not. I still hate school though. It always gives me stress, going to class so early in the morning freaks out my inner night-loving self, making friends who turn out to be temporary hurts the living hell out of me as I'm a fragile person who may have been too forgiving that has been taken advantage of multiple times, and developing the 'perfectionist' mindset of wanting to be at the top seeing all perfect in my grades. When stuck on a problem for at least 15 minutes I start to get panic attacks because I'm overly worried about the things that may happen to me If I don't know how to solve something quickly. Trust in teachers has also been a problem. I started having trust issues in multiple people after a lot of things I've been through, and that made me think that just because it's an adult or a teacher doesn't mean that they're trustworthy enough. But you, I saw something special in you that just made me have big respect and trust for you. Only 4 out of many teachers I've had gained my trust-- and you are my 5th. During AP classes I never get nervous or anxious but instead, I gained a great love for history and our country as I saw the beauty of the subject and I really enjoy your teaching style. I don't know how much I should thank you for being my teacher because you really gave me happiness and hope when I was going through some hard times with myself and my relationship with my family and other people.

I know for sure that this is extremely long so it's alright if you don't read everything but I'd like to add one last thing for you.

Happy Teachers' Day! How are you? Because honestly, I feel so ecstatic! When I first came to terms that I would have to experience high school, I dubbed it as a terms "to a long time punishment" because of the homework, so I'd like to thank you for making our AP sessions interesting! Even if it may seem like a small thing, this actually got me motivated to actually write down notes with much more vigor than the previous AP classes were able to make me do. That and combined with the starter kit from the Grade 12 students, in the past, I would have never expected to find this school year so fun! You are like that splash of a singular bright color that brings the most life to the composition, you are what inspired and encouraged my classmates to show eagerness for this school year, other than the chaos we often cause. It's sometimes entertaining to watch, although sometimes distracting, but still fun nonetheless!

Now for the actual lessons, you make it very exciting with your way of introducing and commenting on certain parts of the lesson, like your thoughts on the sacrifices and wars of certain civilizations, and how you make the interactions of each civilization with each other seem very interesting (which it is, by the way :>). You always seem to be able to balance that lesson and learn aspect of the period, whilst also mixing up a little bit of comedy to make our lessons way more interesting. This is an aspect of which I enjoy your interactions with our class and how it makes you seem a lot more approachable than my past advisors.

I hope that when I grow older and ascend to other grades, I'll get to see you walking down the corridors and say hi, it would be nice to see others enjoy your company as well as me and the rest of our classmates do! Maybe you'll even get to be my teacher again, who knows?

Anyway, I hope you get a restful weekend (or at least a brief moment of relaxation) and Happy Teachers' Day!
