The characters I have chosen for my comparison are from the well-known japanese show "Blue Lock", one where it's about football and ego mostly. The youngsters whom I chooses are Sae Itoshi and Rin Itoshi.

About Sae Itoshi

Sae Itoshi was first seen in the very early episodes in season one of the show, but appears as a side character and antagonist in the second season. He's a cruel arrogant and condescending character, looking down on others even if they are older than him and have more organizational authority. He also pushed his younger brother and crushed his initial dreams that they shared together and left the country to achieve his dream to become the best midfielder in the world and win the Champion's League. Sae's playstyle is one where he analyzes his opponent finds the weakest attribute of that player and uses it in his advantage to get past, this technique is known as "Beautiful Destruction". Sae Itoshi is a teenager who's appearance looks like so: middle-aged (18 years old), tall (5'11), pale skinned, oval face, short magenta hair, teal eyes, small nose, full lips and long eyelashes

Sae is also known as : Genius, The Prodigy and Japan's Greatest Treasure.

About Rin Itoshi

Rin Itoshi makes his appearance at the end of season one. His dream was first crushed by his older brother Sae Itoshi and seeks revenge to surpass him and be the best striker in the world. Rin Itoshi's rivarly against his brother lasts a lot of years, however it ends with the second season as Sae Itoshi praises one of his teammates instead of him when Rin wins the match against him. Rin finds a new rival which is Yoichi Isagi.

Rin is an egoistical player which is pretty much the only thing the brothers got in common. His playstyle is analyzing his opponent and battling him on the best attribute that he has, mangling it completely to get past his opponent.

Rin is a selfish player who only thinks about himself during matches and wanting to surpass his own limits by challenging himself every time he can.

Rin is also a teenager and thy's appearance is: middle-aged (16 years old), tall (taller than his older brother 6'1), well built, pale-skinned, oval faced, short dark green hair, turquoise eyes, small nose, full lips and long eyelashes.

Rin is also known as : Genius' little brother, Mr. Long eyelashes and Rin-Rin

About their past

Their past was a meaningful one, with Sae being the caring older brother and watching out for his little brother, Rin, taking the blame for things that he did and helping him when he got in trouble. After an incident that Sae overhit the pass and Rin scoring from his pass (him not being on any team) made Sae see his potential. They won several cups together as brothers and were unstoppable on the pitch together. However Sae got scouted by a big team in Europe. After a skip-time of 4 years Sae comes back to his younger brother and changes his dream to be the best striker in the world with Rin being second, he changes it to become the best midfielder in the world to make Rin the best striker, however Rin doesn't like that and argues with him about sharing their dream. They end up having an one on one to fight for the dream. Sae wins it obviously for his skill difference and knowledge that he acquired during the training sessions in the European team. After that Sae left again and Rin was devastated, making their siblingship a toxic one
