I am a seventeen year old boy in high school.  Music is the only thing I do every single day.  My favorite artist is chief keef.  But, the only problem with this is that not many other people I talk to listen to chief keef.  They always say he’s “trash” and “not good.”  I don’t know if I should stop listening to chief keef and start listening to what everyone else listens to, or stay true to who I listen to.  What should I do?

  You should stick with listening to chief keef.  Even though this artist might be the most popular person at the moment, it doesn’t matter if he’s most popular or not.  If you like this artist, you shouldn’t care what other people think of someone you like.  Why try and fit in with others and not like the things they do when you can be happy being yourself?  If chief keef is what you like, then stick with chief keef.  But, don’t just conform to society just because you don’t feel like you fit in.

  I am a sixteen year old girl in high school.  I am in a tight predicament at this time.  I am stuck between two guys at the moment.  One guy is sweet and kind and always wants to talk to me.  But, the other guy is always arguing with me about stupid things like the past.  I want one of these guys to be my boyfriend, but he’s scared he’s going to be made fun of for him dating someone a lot younger than him.  The other guy is always mad at the things I do and wants to die when I don’t talk to him.  What should I do?

  I think you should go with the guy that’s sweet and all that.  It’s always nice to have someone that’s sweet and kind and all that to you.  The other guy doesn’t deserve you if he’s not cherishing you and treating you like you’re the greatest person in the world to
him. You need someone that’s always there for you and treating you the right way. You can’t be with someone who’s too immature to be in a happy relationship with you.  Also, it doesn’t help if the guy is literally too obsessed with you that he legitimately can’t live without you.  You need someone who can provide money and love.  So, you should be with the guy that is sweet and kind to you.

  I admire how brave you are to tell me your problems.  I know at first this sounded very skeptical to you.  You probably were thinking, “There’s no way this guy really cares about our problems enough to look at our problems and help us out.  He’s just some guy.”  But I believe that your skeptical mind set paid off in the end.  You had problems that you needed to get off your chest because they were eating you away inside and thought that this would be a good way to do it.  If you all keep writing, I’ll keep writing back with suggestions on what you should do. I actually care about your problems. That’s why I took up this profession of helping people.  It’s not just a hobby, it’s something I love to do.
