I can easily speak in front of my classmates and small classes, but when it comes to speaking in front of a group larger than 15 people I find my self getting super nervous and struggling to find my words. Often when I get nervous I start speaking very fast which can make me hard to hear. Because of this, I'm much better at presenting to a small group. Even when I write about things I feel comfortable and confident about, when the time comes to actually presenting, I get nervous and blank, no matter the audience. My voice shakes a lot but as I continue to talk I tend to get less nervous. I definitely need to improve in confidence and not being as nervous to speak publicly. My expectations are that I will be pretty nervous in the beginning to talk in front of other people but as we go along I'll hopefully become more confident. A smaller crowd is definitely easier to speak to then a larger one, just because in front of a larger crowd, I think more about what I am saying rather than just talking.
