The aim is for the children to understand that light travels in straight lines and it cannot bend. We want them to understand reflection- how light can bounce off something like a bouncy ball and this is how we can see that object.

In-school kids can investigate light traveling in straight lines with torches that you all should have in your room- if you don't, I have some in my room.
