8 Grade Field trip-April

For my eighth-grade field trip, we went to Knott's Berry Farm. We went to the school at 7:30 and left at 8:20. We got there early so we got to ride a good amount of rides. The top 3 scariest rides we got on were Supreme Scream, Hang Time, and Silver Bullet. The rest of the rides were smaller and not too bad. I got dizzy with the tea cups because my friends were spinning it too hard. After a couple of rides, we got some food, I got Panda Express. After we ate we went on a couple more then we left. When we got back to the school it was like 8 pm. This was a fun way to end our last school year at that school.

Arizona: June-July

In the summer I went to Arizona two times. The first time I went to a party. This party was my Aunt's birthday in June. I don't know how old she was turning but I think it was like 47-54. The second time I went was with my and my friend's family. We went to someplace that had cabins with a lake. It was called "Arizona Oasis". This was a fun experience because we had a speedboat and jetskis. I had more fun on the jetskis because me and my friend were on them the most. We were there for 3 days it was super hot outside, and the temperature was like 110.

Freshmen- August

Transitioning from 8th grade to being a freshman has been both exciting and a little nerve-wracking for me. I remember feeling a mix of emotions as I said goodbye to my middle school friends and teachers. Starting high school meant facing new challenges, like navigating a bigger campus and managing my schedule. I quickly realized that being a freshman comes with more freedom, but it also means I have to be more responsible. Meeting new classmates has been a fun experience, and I’ve already made some great friends. I was surprised by how many clubs and activities there are, and I can’t wait to try some out. The teachers have been really supportive, helping me adjust to the new workload and expectations. I’ve learned that it’s important to stay organized to keep up with homework and projects. Participating in school events has helped me feel more connected to my new school and classmates. Overall, the transition from 8th grade to being a freshman has been a memorable journey, and I’m excited for what’s next!

First Varsity Soccer Game -November

This was something I will never forget. It was my first ever game as a freshman. I loved this memory because it was from almost a full month of tryouts. There were like 60-75 kids trying out and only 15 kids made either JV or Varsity. The bad thing about our school is there is no frosh team for at least the freshmen who didn't make it. Thanks to my hard work in tryouts I managed to make the Varsity team along with 2 of my best friends who are also freshmen. After like 1 more week of practice we got our jerseys. A week later we had our first game against Baldwin Park High School. I didn't get to start but after the first 15 minutes, I got onto the field. I didn't get to start but at least I finished the rest of the game. At first, I felt nervous but after the first 5 minutes that I got in, I felt really comfortable. When the game was finished the final result was 5-0 Diamond Ranch Win!

Arizona Soccer Tournament- Thanksgiving weekend

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I had a soccer tournament with my club team. The tournament was called the Arizona Super Cup. My team had a good tournament we almost won all of our games but unfortunately, we lost in the finals. I had good games because I got 3 goals this tournament and like 2 assists. We were going against teams from Canada and Arizona. In this tournament, we played 2 or 3 Canadian teams that were top 10 in their country. We beat most of the teams except for 1. The final was a good game but we ended up taking the L. The next day the whole team left home, it was a super long drive. Overall, this was a fun experience and can't wait to do something competitive like this again!
