Bob would do funny skits, comedy, and jokes. He would have famous dancers, singers, and musicians come to entertain them too. Bob had people like Betty Hutten, Lana Turner and Judy Garland. Judy sang "Somewhere over the rainbow" . Betty Hutten sang "He Says Murder He Says".

Bob Hope's career lasted 7 decades. He died at age 100 on July 27, 2003. Bob was so admired for his work, Congress made him a military Veteran in 1997. In his career, that was one out of many awards he was given. When ever he traveled, he wold bring a golf club with him for his love of golf. Bob Hope wrote a book in 1944, called I Never Left Home. Also, he hosted 18 Academy Award shows.

Bob Hope would go on stage at military bases or near them. He would be there during time of peace and war. The first place he went to see troops was Alaska; however his first show was at March Field in Riverside, California.
