2. Learning: Technology: helps to adapt learning experiences. Education can observe individual learning and preferences, also, it makes an approach to the content and activities to each learner's needs. This type of learning can identify areas of difficulty and provide support of it,  maximizing the effectiveness of teaching.

3.Learning and Professional approaches: Technology supports learning and professional development. Online courses, webinars, and digital resources help students to have new skills and knowledge through their experiences. Technology learning ecosystems develop a culture of continous learning.

We can see different ways in which technology can be integrated and help in these contexts:

1. Collaboration and social learning: "There was a fluid quality to the activities Van Alstine facilitated: people came together, made stuff together, talked and joked about what they made, and then shared their work with the larger RCAH community."
As mentioned in this quote, technologies encourage collaboration and social learning by allowing students to work together on projects, share their creations and discuss ideas, which strengthens the sense of community and collaborative learning.

2. Access to online resources: The use of online resources such as images and additional elements enriches the learning process by providing students with access to a wide variety of materials and resources that they can use to improve their projects.

3. Use of image technologies: Technologies such as the use of digital cameras and green backgrounds, along with editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, empower students to transform their artistic creations, adding a touch of realism by inserting their sculptures into public settings. This demonstrates how imaging technology stimulates creativity by allowing students to explore and express their ideas in a more vivid and immersive way, as they explain in this quote:

 /I think that as in another country we can apply and learn support on the communicative competence but in this especific context, in Colombia it could be have differents ways to be applied to adapt in or especifics population and their level of english.

1. Technology allows people to learn the same subject, but with different didactic materials that allow the development of different ways of learning. Fortunately, nowadays there are several platforms that allow the expansion of knowledge from these forms without excluding one or giving more importance to the others. 
2. Technology allows each person's work to stand out in its own way and become more popular. As in reading, where they added elements to the sculpture or changed its position, we all have the opportunity to make our work more striking to attract the public we want or simply to highlight those important points of what we did. 
3. Technology supports teamwork. Thanks to the different platforms that exist, finding a platform where the majority of students are interested, learn and have fun at the same time is not impossible. The important thing in this idea is to explore the Internet every day to find all this material.

(2) Ecology goes beyond the limits of classes and classrooms. (3) Although learning ecologies are unpredictable and contingent, design (the configuration of materials by humans to achieve human goals) has a role to play. 

Starting from these ideas, I consider myself in favor of the fact that keeping in mind that we live in a modernity marked by technology and that this gives students access to an infinite amount of online learning resources, we can take advantage of new material that can be useful for their learning processes. Second, promote virtual interactive learning regardless of the geographical distance, through platforms that allow this, in short, support virtual learning spaces but with the objective of making them fun and interesting for students. Finally, create an adaptation of learning materials and activities according to the individual needs of each student, which helps make the teaching process more effective and personalized.

It can be applied if the curriculum and teaching practices are guided by communicative competence in ELT. Topics should be adapted that allow the student to be aware of Colombia (their context), so that they can express themselves about what surrounds them more easily. Also, it is essential that the teacher implements more activities for children to speak in class, not only structure, but also conversation at all times, for them to know how to use dircourse, and sociocultural needs.

2. What does the teaching of communicative competence demand in Colombian schools?​

As I said before, more commitment is needed on the part of institutions, students (and their parents) and teachers. It is true that teaching only grammar is simpler than adapting to the context and looking for new activities for the students to learn something, be interested and have some skills, but students are needed who are capable of facing a future where they need the specific language.

3. Why is communicative competence in English important for Colombian citizens?​

Because we are living in an era of globalization. It is no longer enough to know that there are other languages apart from the mother tongue, now it is necessary to live with other countries to do business, make friends and, in general, get to know new cultures and even our own culture.

4. In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges of working with communicative competence? Why?

The biggest challenge could be that we are stuck in a traditional education. For teacher and students is easier just to know the basics in grammar of the language, but the discourse and know to use them in different context are in second position.

If we need to teach English, we can't think about the limits about it. We need to analyze the learning process of the students, in order to identify their needs and likes.
If we have that information, we will teach until a point that will be accurate for their age, context and knowledge.
In Colombia we have different conexts, and for that reason we can't think that is only one way to teach.
The "extent" depends in each context and culture, for that reason, the communicative competence needs to be implemented without thinking in the future, only reviewing the process and the adpatation of it.

• What does the teaching of communicative competence demand in Colombian schools?

It demands teachers that want to change the tradidional method, in order to teach English in a way more useful for the learning process of the students. The teachers must have skills to teach, for example, pronunciation, entonation, fluency, etc. On the other hand, they need to be creativity to drive the students in oral conversations in the most of the time that they are learning and practicing English.

• Why is communicative competence in English important for Colombian citizens?

It is important to get new skills, know about other cultures and have the ability to express their ideas in their mother tongue and a foreign language.
When they will learn a new language, they will learn things about Spanish, and it is important for them and for their culture.

• In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges of working with communicative competence? Why?

I think the biggest challenge is the behavior of the students, because in some cases they feel insecure talking in another language; talking aloud or talking with their classmates. To overcome this challenge, we as a teachers need to have didactic strategies for them. In order they enjoy talking and have fun while learn English.

Extended communicative skills are essential in ELT in Colombia to prepare students for the big world. Now, since our mother tongue is Spanish and it is the language we use in our daily life to communicate, we doesn't have the opportunity to interact that much in the second language, that's why we must take advantage of all the opportunities we have in the academic spaces to  apply the knowledge we have of this language.

2. What does the teaching of communicative competence demand in Colombian schools?​
It demands an interactive and practical methods besides commitment and values. Also, creativity classes where students generate interest in learing the language. 

3. Why is communicative competence in English important for Colombian citizens?​
It is important because nowadays we live in a globalized world where knowing a second language (English in this case) provides a lot of opportunities for the citizens, and those opportunities don't depend only of the grammar knowledge but the correct use of this one when communicating with others.
