Jellybean Pool got its name from the shape of the swimming-hole as from a birds-eye view to looks much like a jellybean. The pool is 100 meters away from the closest parking and the way down there is completely downhill so you can get down there quicker than ever.

One of the most visited areas in the national park, many tourist come to check out the breath taking view of the majestic Blue Mountains. Lincolns Rock is a must visit when coming to the Blue Mountains, The story behind Lincolns rock is of an Australian mountaineer by the name of “Lincoln Hall “who lived in ‘Wentworth- Falls” where the lookout was located, Lincoln Hall became famous for his near fatal fall on Mount Everest. After he passed 6 years later the council came to a decision to rename a year after. The lookout used to be called “Flat rock” However since 2013 it has been called “Lincoln Rock.”

Whenever you need or want a perfect pie Mountain high pie is the spot to go with friendly staff, great hospitality and delicious food options with an average spent of $1-$20 making this an affordable lunch. Due to the elevation of the mountains, it can get cold up in the area so a warm Breakfast or Lunch can make your day and fill you up. Make sure to get there before 4PM as the staff close the kitchen at 3:50PM, The menu includes breakfast specialties, Beef pie varieties, Lamb variates, Chicken varieties, Vegetarian and Vegan options, desert options and hot drinks, e.g. coffees and teas

Three Sisters

The Three sisters is an iconic formation of three rocks, that are parallel to one-another, The Three Sisters all have similar heights all, each of the sisters stand at 906, 918 and 922 meters tall which is over 3000 feet (above sea level), Nearby the Three Sisters is a large viewing platform by the name of ‘Echo Point Lookout’ to take many photos and have an unforgettable view.

There are multiple different stories of how the sisters were formed/made which congregates to the aboriginal importance.

The type of landform that the Three Sisters is, Giant Sandstone. The Three sisters were formed during the Triassic era which was 200 million years ago, within the last 200 million years the Three Sisters have been hit with wind and rain erosion which slowly broke down the shape of the pillars therefore the odd structure of the Three Sisters.

The Blue Mountains was a fantastic holiday too go for, the trails in the valley really connect you with nature, I will definitely go again in the spring as that is the best time to visit. 4.3/5

My family was stoked on the way to the National Park and when we got there we had 4 perfect spots to go to thanks to this tripadvisor page, must go again and the views and Lincoln's rock was the best. 4.1/5

I spent a couple of days here and it was so nice, most of my time I stayed near jellybean pool for the everyday swim which was much joyous, this page was so helpful and the Mountain high pie gave it the cherry on top. 3.9/5

The three sisters hold an significant and spiritual connection to the local aboriginal people, mainly the Gundungurra, Wiradjuri, Tharwal and Darug people. The most common legend that the is connected to the Three sisters is the story of, There were Three sisters who fell in love with three warrior brothers from a rival tribe, which was a forbidden relationship tribal law. For protection a witch doctor turned the three sisters into stone to ensure no conflict between the tribes, However in a war battle the which doctor died meaning the three sisters remained in the stone formation, Beyond the legends the sisters have been seen as forms of strength, unity and protection which can remind others about the harmony between siblings, the land and sacrifices.

Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa

The Lillanfels Resort is one of the best locations to stay over night near the blue mountains, though it is quite pricey ($$$) the hospitality and rooms make it worth it, within the resort the amidites are a pool, hot-tub, In-hotel restaurant, a spa and many others, the hotel is very close to the Three Sisters and Lincolns Rock which makes this spot extremely accessible and a sublime view from the pool and many rooms. Some of the rooms may cost extra due to the view but it is really worth it. Many of the reviews will be able to describe the views and amidites of the hotel.

The Lilianfels Resort was so immaculately good, all-though the rooms were a bit out-dated the amenities were wonderful with the best spa in the Mountains. 4.7/5

The blue Mountains are most definitely stable as the mountains have not began to erode leading to landslides, on the climate part of stability the Blue Mountains are getting a good spread of rainfall which allows the trees and other plants to grow, meaning the Blue mountains national park has good expectations for the future.
