He has held assistant coaching positions with several high schools and with Division I universities such as Boston College and Harvard University, where his staff was Eastern College Athletic Conference Staff of the Year in 1998-1999. As the head coach of the women's team at Salve Regina University from 2006 to 2014, Michael Cox was responsible for recruiting prospective players, developing effective game strategies, directing player strength and conditioning, and overseeing player academic performance. Mr. Cox holds a bachelor of arts in English from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts, and a master of sports management and leadership from Lasell College. He currently leads both the girls’ team at Medfield High School in Medfield, Massachusetts, and the Boston Junior Huskies.
