What I did this summer

This summer I went camping with my mom’s side of the family. It’s a tradition we do every year. I also hung out with my older cousins. Me and my cousins have a book club together where we read books chosen by one of the members and then meet up at the end of the month to discuss and have a treat for ourselves. I spent a lot of time this summer taking care of my younger siblings.

I’m Ariana Lor, a 10th grade slp student who enjoys language arts and hates math. I like to talk a lot when I’m comfortable or with people I’m comfortable with, other than that I don’t talk much.

I’m the oldest of five. I have two younger sisters (13 and 10) and two younger brothers (4 and 2). I am Hmong American and a second generation immigrant. I’m a big music person, play 4 instruments (guitar, bass guitar, piano, and ukulele) plan on learning more. I’ve lived in Minnesota my whole life. A goal of mine is to get better at speaking Hmong, I want to be able to understand some of my older relatives who don’t speak English and be able to tell them my wants and needs in Hmong.

I usually strive at creative stuff like writing, art, and music rather than things like math and science. I’m interested in music, art, and books. I’m not much of a person to have too many needs but some things that I ask are respect and understanding.

Music, as I’ve mentioned a few time is something that I really enjoy. I think it’s very expressive and beautiful. I listen to all genres from visual kei to rap, one of my most recent favorites has been soft jazz. Laufey is a soft jazz artist I’ve been into recently

This is one of my friends Athena, she has a twin sister who’s also a friend of mine. I wouldn’t say I’m too popular with tons of friends but I have a few that are enough for me. I like to hangout with my friends and go shopping or have house dates.
