Out of my three dogs, this is my best buddy, Hudson. He is a pure-bred American Staffordshire Terrier. He is originally from Wichita, Kansas. During high school, I made the 12-hour drive with my mom to adopt him. Since then, he has lived a very lavish and spoiled life that consists of daily walks, amazing food, love, and affection. When he isn't staying active, he tends to always be sleeping or trying to cuddle up when the opportunity presents itself. On the flip side of the coin, when he isn't being enjoyable, he tends to be a grump-always complaining and talking or sneaking off to take a nap in peace.

Mexican food is hands down my favorite cuisine. There’s something about the bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and variety that keeps me coming back for more. Whether it’s tacos, burritos, enchiladas, or tamales, every dish has its unique taste and story. I love how the food is full of spice, not just in terms of heat, but in the way every bite bursts with flavor. I also currently reside in California which doesn't help but make me bias.

I was born in a small town called Manchester, Michigan, but I’ve lived in Ann Arbor since I was six years old. Growing up, all I’ve ever known is the "maize and blue" spirit. Weekends in Ann Arbor are filled with energy—whether it’s cheering on Michigan football or basketball, or just spending time with family at a backyard barbecue. Living here has given me some truly unique experiences. From the cultural diversity to the wide variety of cuisines and the endless activities the city offers, Ann Arbor has shaped who I am in more ways than one.

One of my favorite activities has always involved the water. Both of my parents grew up near the water—one in an ocean town and the other on a lake—so it’s always been a big part of my life. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve taken every chance I get to be in or around the water. Whether it’s swimming, waterskiing, cliff jumping, or even surfing, I’m always up for the adventure.
