the mood/setting/environment I am creating a playlist for is relaxing. two songs that fit the playlist are "Location" by Khalid and "No Diggity" by Chet Faker. The music I chose fits the setting because it does not have a very fast tempo and the beat and sounds are relaxing. We know what emotions/ideas/feelings the musician was trying to express by the lyrics, tonality, and instruments used in the piece.

Based on the first practice period i realized there are three sections to Country Dance. This informs my musical performance because i can practice it one section at a time then once I'm good i all the sections i can put it all together when i perform. Performers improve the quality of their performance by practicing.
