         <description><![CDATA[<div>I see "Themes" as composing the knowledge and perspectives we hope to develop in our students.&nbsp; I see the "Competencies" as skills and abilities in development throughout the academic program.&nbsp; I think, however, that "Competencies" is NOT the right word.&nbsp; Why not use something like "Skills/Abilities" -- very simply or perhaps learning "Experiences"??</div>]]></description>
