Three film students disappeared in Jalisco while making a project for the UniversityAudiovisual Media in Guadalajara, outside the city in a rural area, in a country house unknown to them, this house was frequented by some of the most powerful cartels in Mexico. After one day of filming, they leave the house but experienced car troubles making them pull over, that is when two unknown cars approach armed men dressed as law enforcement. That is when Javier, Marco, and Jesus were forced into the vehicles and after that, their friends never heard or see anything of them again.

That being said, it is clear to see that even though every nation is supposed to protect these human rights, they have a bigger priority to protect the ones of their people and citizens, than those that are not citizens.
 During the last few years, Mexico has been a danger zone due to the war on drugs and insecurity. We consider that as a consequence of this the right to life and the right to freedom is violated and under-exercised not only by drug cartels but also by authorities.
