Responsible to: The Bank (Boss)

Responsible for: Trying to break into the vault to improve security

Main purpose of the job

• Break into the vault

• Communicating how the bank's security could be improved

• Slightly controlling damage done to the vault

Main duties

• Find weak spots in the wall

• Report the weak spots

• Break the vault to enter and help improve it.

Occasional duties

• Going to other banks

• Posing as police officers to install surveillance equipment in vaults.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time

• Location: Varies; may require travel to different bank locations

• Salary Range: Competitive, based on experience

• Reporting To: Head of Security or Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

• Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct simulations of bank robbery scenarios (physical and digital).

• Identify vulnerabilities in physical security systems (e.g., alarms, cameras, access controls).

• Test and evaluate cybersecurity measures against phishing, malware, and attack vectors.

• Create thorough reports on findings and suggest improvements.

• Collaborate with security staff to develop and implement improved security measures.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in cybersecurity threats and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Certifications:

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

• Physical Security Professional (PSP) (for physical security aspects)

• Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or physical security testing.

• Proven track record of work in financial institutions or similar industries with knowledge of banking protocols and compliance.

Skills:

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite).

• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity frameworks.

• Knowledge of physical security systems and access control technologies.

• Analytical Skills:

• Ability to assess risks and develop strategic recommendations.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
