I would describe Ben as someone who is always try to be the best and impress. He does this because his father was in the air force and he believed that his dad was a strong, tough leader and he wants to replicate that.
3,, The main conflict in this book is that Ben and the rest of the Kudo family are visiting Ben and Harry's ( Ben's younger brother) uncle, Osijan in japan. While they are there and they are mourning the loss of their father. Whilst they were there, a tsunami occurred.
