A little more about my education and work!

I attended Wyggeston Grammar School for Boys in Leicester. Later, I studied geology and zoology at Clare College, Cambridge, where I achieved a degree in natural sciences. I worked at the BBC, where I began as a producer and presenter for the Zoo Quest series in the 1950s. My most notable works include, Zoo Quest Series in 1950, The Living Planet in 1984, and The Trials of Life, The Private Life of Plants, The Blue Planet, Planet Earth, and Frozen Planet around 1990!

I have proudly supported WLT since its founding date in 1989. WLT's purpose is to raise funds to to save rainforests and protect important wildlife habitats. I truly want to help accomplish this. “The sensible attitude to conservation is to conserve animal and plant communities and that means land… World Land Trust recognised that a long time before others and it became their first objective”.

Blue Planet

I am proud to share with the world my narration of Blue Planet. I hope this brings attention and awareness about the negative impact human actives have on marine wildlife and the ocean. This series highlights the importance of ocean conservation.

I am deeply concerned for the well-being of our beautiful environment, nowadays there are so many problems in our environment, all from pollution and climate change to animal extinction, and all of this is mainly our fault! Since I have a pretty big platform I want to speak and help raise awareness for our environment because at this rate I don't know how long we have until we completely destroy it. Thank you.
