This is because there are things like Aids and most people cant afford to get medicine for it.

Out of all the political borders I have studied the one that has the most issues is probably India and Pakistan. I think this because there are still many conflicts going on and there is another country controlling both of them and making all the laws. This is a conflict because both countries are mad that you have to move to the other country which ever one that is because of your religion. Your religion shouldn't have to do with where you live, just because you are Muslim doesn't mean that you live in Pakistan and just because your Hindu doesn't mean you have to live in India. You should be able to live where ever you desire and how you desire.

I believe that the political border issues that have the most issues is Africa because everyone was trying to get the most land and claiming it. Many other problems occured with this like murder & wars. Many people were starving as well, this is because food prices during this time were sky-rocketing. This made food out of peoples reach, which made people go into criminal activity. Everyone wanting land would do anything to make others quit I know this because people would often brag about there land. During this time and even now killing people thtere is not like killing someone here people there see nothing wrong with it. And this is why I know that Africa is having the most border issues and was having them.
AFRICAS CRIME RATE (:
Around 49 people are murdered in South Africa every day. The murder rate increased rapidly in the late-1980s and early-1990s. Between 1994 -2009, themurder rate halved from 67 to 34 murders per 100,000 people.
this artical is found here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_South_Africa

What is the average wage in Africa? Well here you go,

From 1993 to 2008 the average per capita income of sub-Saharan African economies barely budged—it increased from $742 to $762 per year (measured in 2005 purchasing-power parity-adjusted dollars). If we exclude South Africa and the Seychelles, we see a decline from $608 to $556 over the period.Jan 21, 2014
this can be found here, https://www.economist.com/blogs/freeexchange/2014/01/incomes-sub-saharan-africa
I found the number of people in poverty.
In 2012, 501 million people, or 47 percent of the population of sub-Saharan Africa, lived on $1.90 a day or less, a principal factor in causing widespread hunger. Anther reason is that their are still skirmishes between the two countries with people even being shot and killed. I don't think Africa has the most troubles because what is happening their is civil war between the countries and its people. Finally I think the boarder between India and Pakistan is the worst because their still have not toatle come to a agreement with each other and their is still bloodshed sometimes.

I believe out of all of the borders that I studied that Pakistan and India was the border with the most issues. This is because India and Pakistan are still having issues today for an example like if a Muslim was in India or a Hindu was in Pakistan they would give both a hard time. Also they were killing people just because they were Hindu or Muslim and the ways they were killing them they were shooting them and stabbing them with spears. I think that this border is the most dangerous compared to Africa and North Korea because they arent killing people over what religion they are. Like in North Korea the way they got killed was if they crossed the border but not that much have done it. And in Africa it was kind of like a war they weren't killing over religion they weren't killing over goods. In conclusion I think Pakistan and India are the most dangerous for those reasons and they sill haven't resolved there fight.

This is because the Pakistan and Indian border has people coming over to hurt or kill other people and in the video the Hindus came into the village to kill the Muslims because they hate them. I think this because there have been shootings at the border and how they never except our border meetings because they think if they don't except there will be no problem. I also think that it is the most political border because of how the North is sending off nukes and missals because that is causing tension between the two country's. North Korea has caused some bad things causing the greatest of guarding between them. they don't trust each other at all between them because of the missile man launching all the missiles in to the sea.

Out of all of the political borders I have studied, I think that the India/Pakistan border has the most issues. I think this because in 1947, they divided colonial India into two sides, Pakistan and present day India. Pakistan was for the Muslims and India was for the Hindus. Anyone who was not on the correct side was expected to move almost instantly or be kicked out and some killed by the other religion. The video on Shane Ali was devastating. Most of his family was killed by armed men with spears, all in the name of religion. They are still having issues over this today and thousands upon thousands have been killed. We may only be hearing about North Korea and South Korea, but in my opinion, India and Pakistan have bigger issues to deal with.

I believe the border with the most political issues is the DMZ (DE-Militarized Zone) between North Korea and South Korea because the two countries are stuck in a peace treaty in the middle of what seems to be an everlasting war. Another reason is people in North Korea want to escape to the south, just as the North Korean soldier on November 13, 2017. Another reason is if someone gets too close to the border, they may blow up because of a land mine or get shocked on an electric fence. The DMZ had one specific reason even, keep the North Koreans from defecting. North Korean guards at the edge of the land stand facing each other to make sure one of them doesn't defect. That is why I think The DMZ border between North Korea and South Korea has the most political issues.
Jacob Misiewicz, pd. 2

Out of all the borders I have studied I think Africa's borders have the most problems. One of the problems is the fight for natural resources in the Democratic Republic of Congo. If the borders were drawn well then people wouldn't have to fight over basic necessities like water. Other problems are civil wars, because when the borders were drawn people were just forced to live their, that is the country they live in. In some countries this caused genocide, like in Rwanda. Going back a few years, the berlin conference gave big super powers like the U.K land. This made people the superpowers property as slaves. When people revolt it can cause a civil war, which can make people want to expand or change borders like Ethiopia and Eritrea. In conclusion, the poor drawing of borders in Africa, by the berlin conference has caused problems for the entire continent, such as civil wars, creation of new countries, and mass human rights violation.

Out of all the political borders that I have studied, I think that the India/Pakistan border has had the most problems. I believe this because there was a lot of violence when the Pakistan border was drawn. When the Pakistan border was drawn, India started protesting and rioting with a result of thousands dead. The whole reason that Pakistan was created was because the British believed that the Muslims needed a country all to themselves. Pakistan then became the home for Muslims, and India became the home for the Hindu religion. This was one of the main problems because if you were a Muslim living in India you were forced to move to Pakistan. If you chose to not move to Pakistan than you were risking being arrested or killed. This problem is still going on today in modern India and Pakistan. Even though in the news we are not hearing about the Indian/Pakistan border, it is a major issue that needs attention.

Lauren Laquey P.6

In my opinion the country that has the most issues is North Korea, South Korea, and the DMZ. I said this because of the rules and laws that have been put in place. The DMZ is probably one of the most strict and Hardy border in the world. This Porter contains electric fences barbed wire and a bunch of scouting areas where people sit and attack anyone who tries to cross the border. In North Korea and South Korea there's no communication whatsoever whoever tries or attempts to communicate through media takes the risk of being put and a camp or being executed. North Korea is one of the poorest countries in the world and doesn't know any better then to trust and respect their supreme leader Kim Jun on. there is one of the largest infant mortality rates in the world there and very few people can afford a healthy life style. With all of the nuclear weapons and threats that have been thrown around every one is waiting to see what will happen.

I think this because the DMZ is very strict and dangerous for people to cross. if people cross the DMZ they will most likely get shot. The DMZ has soldiers stand at the border in a strict formation so no one can get in or out. This border contains a bunch of electric fences marking the border. There is no communication between the two countries. South Korea has tried to communicate with south Korea over the border but North Korea just walked away. There is a lot of tension between them because they both have nuclear weapons that could fire at any moment. Luckily we know the consequences if we do so I don't think we will. This gives this border a lot of issues that need to be solved.

Out of all of the political borders I have studied, I belive that the border with the most issues is the DMZ (DE-Militarized Zone). The DMZ is a politicol border that seperates North Korea and South Korea. The DMZ has many issued because if anyone tries to escape North Korea they will probably be killed or tortured at the DMZ. The DMZ has military forces on gaurd at all times. If you would ignore the heavy forces that are at the DMZ, it is still very dangerous. The DMZ has three high voltage electric fences that can kill you in an instant. The high voltage would put a persons heart into shock and it would stop beating. Along with the electric fences, the DMZ has one of the largest mine fields in the modern world. The DMZ has only the best fed and the most fit soliders to keep on gaurd. South Korea has tried, but failed to communicate to North Korea. Over the past years, North Korea has been sending out threats for nuclear action. The tension and security has impoved and raised between North Korea and South korea at the DMZ. There are many facts about why the DMZ has issues.
Jack Behmer pd.6

This is very disappointing for all of the people in North Korea who are trying to escape North Korea to live a better life. This border was created to keep each other out of the other country. The reason why they do not want to mix citizens is because the two countries run different types of government. This place can be very stressful because their is a constant worry for war. Also there is a lack of communication between the two countries.Since there is a lack of communication it is very hard to make a treaty with North Korea to ensure safety to others.Hearing about the threat of a nuclear war in the news every day makes me think that there is no other border that has more important issues then the North Korea and South Korea border.
Luke K pd.1

The DMZ or the Demilitarized zone is a political border that separates North Korea and South Korea from having contact is a highly watched wall that doesn't let anyone across it so the citizens will stay inside. The DMZ is the main border that is keeping apposing countries from visiting the other. If the people from North Korea were to try and escape they would be stopped by the DMZ then sent to a camp or to be killed. The DMZ is equipped will many high tech things and if often looked over to make sure it is working perfectly. The two countries are avoiding contact of citizens because they have two very different types of way of living and Kim Jong Un doesn't want to have all sorts of technology and ways of communication with not only South Korea But many other countries to keep himself safe from disapproving places.

I think this because, for a while, neither of the countries even had governments, and were getting away with hurting each other and using unnecessary violence. Now that both of the countries do have functioning governments, Pakistan is not happy. When the lines were first drawn, the European union tried to "help," although, they really just ended up creating more drama. By separating the Muslims and the Hindu's they may have stopped fighting over government power and religion, but the fighting had just begun. Although the two religions were separate for the most part, any Muslim who was let in India was most likely killed or sent away. Another reason for fighting is that, Europe gave the Hindu's a much bigger country than they gave the Muslims, and you can imagine that, that led to fighting.

I think this because in the video about North Korea and South Korea explained that Kim Jong-Un doesn't allow his people to see/understand much of the outside world. But, that also means that we don't know much about them. This is a big problem because Kim Jong-Un's people should be allowed to know about the outside world which would open an opportunity for us to see what is happening inside North Korea. Another issue with this border is that nobody from the two countries sees each other any time because the two countries built a border so that nobody from either side of the border can attack/talk to each other.

Many people who try to escape die trying, and it's hard to start a new life if you you're not already dead. It is very hard to get over the gate without getting shot. After watching the video where the North Korean escaped away and ran. In that process, he was shot multiple times and was very lucky he didn't die. After seeing the look in his eyes and the way he spoke, it was very hard to have empathy for him because he went through many things. Kim Jon Un wasn't happy. He was embarrased by this because he didn't want anyone to think they had to leave because he's the 'best'. The DMZ is a crazy scary place so that's why I think it's the political border with the most problems.

Many North Koreans have tried to escape and cross the DMZ border but end up getting caught and killed. After watching the video where the man was escaping with his friend. There were many obstacles they had to face like, crawling under the electric fence which his friend ended up dying from that. They also had to be carful on not getting caught. North and South Korea have a lot of issues because Kim Jong-Un doesn't allow his people to see or understand how the world actually is. This makes it hard on us Americans because it is very hard for an American to cross the border to see how their lives are.

Out of all the political borders I have studied I think the North Korean and South Korean border (The DMZ) because it has one of the biggest mine fields in the world and on each side they have nearly 200,000,000 soldiers on each side. All the soldiers in North Korea are controlled by one person and one person only Kim-Jung-Un. So that means if he controls those troops and on the news it says he's a dictator that means that he is a dictator.

Of the political borders I have studied, I think that the one that has the most issues is India and Pakistan. They have been fighting for nearly 70 years. The country used to just be India, but they split into two independent states. This happened during the Partition. Many things happened during the Partition. First the British, who were ruling over India left. This made India into an independent county. With all of this freedom, India decided to dived into two separate states, India and Pakistan. They did this because they wanted the Hindus and the Muslims to each have their own independent state. This shows that the conflict between them started way back, between the Hindus and the Muslims. When this split happened to India, some Muslims that were living on the Hindu side didn't want to leave their home, and some Hindus living on the Muslim side didn't want to leave their home. Because of this riots and protests were formed. A man named Shane Ali, lived with his family on the Hindu side, even though they were Muslim, during the Partition. This caused the Hindu to come at them. Shane Ali's family was killed by angry Hindus with guns and spears. This shows that even after they decided to separate from each other, there was still much conflict. Some of this conflict was created during the partition, after the British left. This was because the British were their leaders and government, so when they left, there was no one to take there place or form a government. Many people were killed and hurt at this time, since there was no leader or laws to tell them what they could or couldn't do. To this day they are still arguing. They are debating if the city Kashmir belongs to India or Pakistan. They can not decide this because the city is located right on the political border between India and Pakistan.

Of the political borders we studied, the borders of Africa have the worst issues, for war and famine have occurred, and the Africans did not even make the borders themselves. War and violence are ridden across the continent, bringing many deaths. The conflict between Ethiopia and Eritrea have cause two major wars, and one of them was inflicted because of meager border issues. Sierra Leone is another war that has happened, with more than 50,000 deaths, effecting the borders of the country majorly. Famine and lack of resources makes the borders even harder to control. The famine in Eastern Africa left over twelve million out of food and water, making violence start across the region. The borders made were not even made by the people that run them today, making it truly impossible to have the countries peaceful. The more recent war between Ethiopia and Eritrea was because of one of these disputes. If war can be started by a minor border disagreement, then and agreed border in Africa would be hard to come by. The border conflicts in Africa make it easily, the region with the most, and worst, border issues.

Since separating British Rule in 1947, and becoming independent states, these two South Asian countries have been involved in four wars, border issues, and military fighting. The main reason for their fighting is the Kashmir conflict, which is a territorial conflict. The separation displaced 14 million people along religious lines creating a refugee crisis and large scale violence. The India/Pakistan relationship still remains tense even though there is talk from both sides about easing up tensions.
Anastasia P, Per.1

Out of all the political boarders we have studied the boarder with the most issues is the Korean DMZ. This is because it is a demilitarized zone but is still one of the most heavily guarded places on Earth. Another issue is the hostility of the North Koreans toward the South Koreans. If the North Koreans sense that one thing is wrong at the boarder the North Korean government may start a war and they may use their nuclear missiles against South Korea or their allies. The next issue the North Korean DMZ has is why it was created. The 38th parallel was the boarder between North and South Korea before the Korean war. In 1950 the north invaded the south to try to gain control of the whole Korean Peninsula. After three long years of fighting the north gained not even an inch of ground and neither side surrendered, so a cease fire and the DMZ was created. Still today the war goes on, each side watching each other behind a barbed wire fence.

I think out of all political borders I have studied I feel that the borders of Africa have the worst issues. One reason for this thinking is the way the borders were drawn. In the Berlin Conference the countries didn't pay any attention to where the native tribes were settled or where the natural resources were. Instead they just randomly drew the border where they liked so they could get the amount of land they wanted. Due to this, many native tribes today are still fighting about borders and natural resources like rivers or forests, which can be very important. These wars can drag on for awhile, ridding death across Africa. Take Ethiopia and Eritrea for example. One of their wars back in 1998-2000 about a border dispute cost them millions of dollars for weapons and about 100,000 deaths. In 1984 a terrible famine hit but all the government wanted to do was to fight in the war over the border so it did and watched its people starve. Even though they both agreed to a peace treaty in 1999, they blamed each other for various things like who started the conflict or who wasn't going to agree to the treaty. Although eventually peace was made, Ethiopia and Eritrea along with other African countries, are still tense with each other.

Out of the political borders that I have studied, I think that North Korea and South Korea has the most conflict. I think this because there are a lot of economic differences between the two countries. I think that there is a lot of conflict and tension between them because North Korea has nuclear weapons that are a huge threat. Also, South Korea seems very rich compared to North Korea, and I think that North Korea could get jealous of everything that they have and they might want to leave for that reason. These two countries have different governments which causes even more conflict. One of the governments is very restrictive and one of them allows more freedom. The DMZ is the border between North Korea and South Korea. The DMZ is very dangerous for people to cross, which causes more conflict for the two countries. If anyone tries to cross the borders, they have the risk of getting shot by the soldiers that stand on each side. North Korea and South Korea also have conflict because of war in 1950.

The political border with the most issues in my opinion is North and South Korea. I think this for several reasons. First because of how over controlling the North is and how the South has more freedom. This causes more people from the North to defect to the South. Next there is the military. The more people defecting to the South means that the border control in North Korea has to work harder to keep people in. last there is the technology. This causes the public of North Korea to be more aware of what they are missing. This may cause people to rebel against their government. As you can see these examples demonstrate issues along the North and South Korea borders.

The political border with the most problems in my opinion would be the India and Pakistan borders. To start, I think this because for a while in the separation neither countries had a government, leaving them in anarchy. Next, any muslims left in the Hindu power of India were killed. This caused one million deaths of civilians. Third, Many muslims couldn't leave India, because of how long the journy was, or they didn't have enough money to go. This caused the Indian government to go to villages and remove the muslims who didn't leave. Finally, this debacle forced 15 million people to become refugees and flee their country. Overall, these are the reasons I believe that the Indian and Pakistan political borders has the most problems.

Out of political borders that I have studied, I think the border with the most problems is the Korean DMZ, which is the border between North and South Korea. This border has so many problems because North Koreans are always trying to escape over the border into South Korean but wind up getting shot. A few weeks ago someone successfully crossed over the border and even though he was shot in the process, he managed to heal. The DMZ is so heavily guarded by military from the North and the South which makes it nearly impossible to escape. North and South Korea's political border also has so many problems because North Korea is jealous of South Korea. South Korea has a much lower infant mortality rate of 4.08 deaths per 1000 births compared to North Korea's infant mortality rate of 26.21 deaths per 1000 births proving that South Korea has much better healthcare. The life expectancy in South Korea is also much higher than North Korea's life expectancy. South Korea spends more on their military than North Korea with a staggering 26.1 billion to 8.213 billion which says that North Korea can't afford to spend as much on the military. This jealousy that North Korea feels towards South Korea could definitely contribute to why North Korea and South Korea's border has issues. Lastly, the DMZ faces problems with their border because North Korea has possession of many nuclear weapons that Kim Jong Un could use at any time. South Korea never knows when one might be used and this could cause conflict. In my opinion, the political border that has the most issues in the North and South Korean border.
Sophia Andriola Pd.1

The DMZ is definitely the most tense border, with solders watching the other side every second. If anyone steps even an inch onto the other side people start shooting. Rarely anyone tries to cross because of how heavily it is guarded. They have a lot of hate for each other because South Korea is capitalist, and North Korea says they are communist. South Korea also is allied with one of North Korea's most hated allies. To add to the tension anyone who tries and manages to defect to South Korea is a great embarrassment to Kim Jong-Un, and adds to the evidence that North Korea is not the paradise he claims it to be. The North Korean citizens are getting more and more jealous of the South Korean's "glamorous" life as they learn more about the outside world.

Out of all the borders I have studies, I think that the one with the most issues is North and South Korea. I think this because ever since 1950, the two countries have fought over many things, including where the border should be put. I also think there is is so much conflict between the two countries because of the economic differences. For example, South Korea mainly because North Korea is so worried about its own survival, that they spend so much money on their weapons and missiles. They are always ready for an attack, but that is costing them a lot of money. The North and South Korean border also has many issues because they are both very protective and isolated from the rest of the world. Both countries have very high security that makes sure there are no intruders or threats. The border is very dangerous, and when somebody tries to cross one way, they could easily get hurt.

Out of all the political borders I have studied, I believe the border that has the most issues is the Demilitarized Zone, also known as the DMZ. This is a heavily guarded border that runs in between North and South Korea. I think that it has the most issues because of all the economic differences that could and have lead to conflict between the two countries. An example of this is the money spent on the community and the citizens. South Korea has a higher Gross Domestic Production (GDP) per capita than North Korea. South Korea's GDP is $34,400 per capita while North Korea only has a GDP of $1,800 per capita. On the other hand, North Korea's government pays closer attention to it's military forces. North Korea's percentage of GDP spent on the military is 22.3% while South Korea only spends 2.8% of GDP on their military forces. This border is very tense with soldiers from each side watching each other every moment that passes bye. The DMZ is a very dangerous and risky place to be in. Very rarely do people ever try to cross this border. If there is any chance that someone attempts to, than they would be putting there family and themselves in incredible danger that may lead to violent consequences. Some of those consequences can be sentenced death in front of the whole community. This is definitely one issue that may be suffered. This border is a border that should not be messed with on a daily basis. The last reason that I think the DMZ is the one border that has the most issues is because of how the countries treat their people and community. North Korea's leader, Kim Jong UN, has a reputation for wanting his people to believe and think that they are living in the best country in the world. But really Kim Jong UN has just brainwashed his own people of knowledge that is mostly false. The people living in North Korea do not know what the outside world is. They have believed that they are the worlds best country and have the best leader. They do not think for themselves any longer, they do as there leader says and wants them to do. But at least South Korea's country has a little bit more freedom in their speech and knowledge. In conclusion, the Demilitarization Zone (DMZ) is the one border that has the most problems out of the political borders that I have studied.

Sejal G. Pd: 6

First, the DMZ is heavily guarded by North Korea so no one can escape or come into North Korea. There is a barbed wire fence and electric fence all the way around the boarder. Also, North Korean is a big enemy to South Korea because the United States were on their side in the Korean War and also because there are Americans on the boarder. Finally, there has been a war between the two countries ever since the war and with the United States on their side North Korea doesn't like them even more. In conclusion, I think that the boarder between North ans South Korean (the DMZ) has the most issues.

Out of all the political borders we've studies, the DMZ has the most issues. I think this because it is dividing two countries that disagree VERY often. Also because North and South Korea are two very economically different countries in the idea that South Korea has more freedoms. North Korea also has totally different allies than South Korea, so they fight over that a lot too. North Korea is friends with China, while South Korea is friends with the United States. Overall, the DMZ is the border with the most issues. It is a very dangerous, risky place to be.

I think this because it is highly watched over by both the North and South. They watch each other heavily throughout the whole day, not making a single movement or sound. When they do make sounds, though the other side usually does not make a peep. Also, the meeting room is another reason why I think they are a border that has the most issues. They rarely ever have meetings, but when they do, the people have to be held back so that they do not get pulled in. Also, North Koreans might be jealous that South Korea has more freedom than them, which could cause more issues. To conclude, the DMZ is the border with the most issues in my opinion.

Of the political border of the ones we have studied, the one that has the most issues is North and South Korea Borders. This is because of all of the conflicts that the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) causes. The DMZ was created because of the Korean War, and was a result of a treaty or agreement between the two warring countries. North and South Korea were arguing over the land of Korea and then came to an agreement about how Korea was going to be divided. Also, North and South Korea are very different economically ways. South Korea is very different than North Korea because South Korean citizens have many more rights and freedoms than North Korean citizens have.

Out of all of the political borders that I have studied, the one that I think has the most issues is the border between North Korea and South Korea (the DMZ). I think this because North Korea and South Korea have a lot of problems and differences, so this makes the border a very serious matter. Even though they do not usually shoot at each other the border is still very heavily militarized. This border has been like this since the Korean War when North Korea and South Korea split up from a treaty. This treaty has made these countries hate each other ever since. Also as we know North Korea is cut out from the world so they try and keep the border militarized as best they can so that no outside information comes in. We also know that South Korea has some rights like having cars, phones, and most importantly freedom. As you can see, these are huge differences that shows why this border is what it is. In conclusion, out of all of the political borders that I have studied, the one that I think has the most issues is the border between North Korea and South Korea (the DMZ).

Alyssa Peruzzi Per.3

The political borders out of the ones we have studied that has the most problems is North and South Korea, and the DMZ. I think this because they have been having issues since World War II. They have a highly militarized border that is guarded 24/7, and when people attempt to crossover the border most people don’t make it to the other side alive. It is guarded with a bunch of soldiers from both sides, barb wire, electric fences, and much more deadly protective things. For example, a couple of weeks ago a North Korean soldier made it across the border but was severely injured. Also South Korea has a much better money and economy situation going on and they provide their citizens with everything they need unlike North Korea who spends all of their money on missiles and doesn’t care for their citizens. In addition, North Korea and South Korea keep their countries very isolated from the world, North more than South. This shows that they are having problems because they don’t want the citizens knowing the rest of the world has better conditions than their own conditions. Finally, Kim Jong Un won’t even communicate with the leader and citizens of South Korea and that is making them fight even more. In conclusion, this is why I think North Korea and South Korea's border have the most problems.

This is because no one in Africa was consulted and this lead to many difficulties and disagreements. This is shown today the DRC to find water and fighting over materials. That's why I think the African borders have the most issues.

I think the political border with the most issues is the DMZ with North and South Korea. This is because the countries have such different ways. North of the border, you have a power-hungry overweight dictator who eats too much and supposedly has Gangrene. His country is starving and it is because he ate all of the food. He also has nuclear weapons and is threatening to destroy the world. He forgets we have about 50 submarines with three times the nukes he has control of. But still, he's dangerous and he is our enemy. On the south side of the border, there's a safe country where everyone makes a stabile income and is happy. It is not corrupt and takes in refugees. So, it's like a bear and a mouse. You meet a friendly mouse and you think he's a good friend, until you meet his not so friendly neighbor and you realize why he's so desperate for friends...

Of the political borders that we have studies the ones that I belive that have the most issues is the South and North Korean borders, and the DMZ. The DMZ (Korean Demilitarized Zone) is a strip of land dividing two opposing military forces, it was created because of the Korean war and when Korea was split up into North and South Korea. That was an issue because there was a major war over the land of Korea and who would get what. One issue is that they are very different economically and socially. North Korea gives their citizens very few rights and Kim Jong Un brain washes them into loving the country and not knowing anything different than their country is amazing. Then on the other hand, South Korea gives their citizens way more freedom and rights because of internet, social media, and the information on the world. Another issue between the North and South Korea is that North Korea is friends with China and South Korea is not. That is a problem because China doesn't let their citizens sneak into their country from North Korea, but if they did then they could discover information about North Korea and their future plans. Last but not least, there is many reasons that the North and South Korean borders have the most issues.

Bella R. Pd.2

Also the North has no idea that the outside world and urges them to get over the other side. People are also urged to come out of the country because of food shortages. Also the DMZ was build just to break up the war that still goes on to this day. North Korea and South Korea are neighbors which could mean allies, but it’s super dangerous to have a South Korean citizen step foot in North Korea. This is mainly because execution can be the penalty for crossing into North Korea. I think this because multiple sources stated many times that there was a loss of food, clean water, and basic sanitation. And many people were in dire need of these basic resources. Another reason that I think the African borders had the most issues is because of the Berlin Conference. The Berlin Conference was basically a meeting between 14 different countries to decide who would get what part of land in present day Africa. This was such a major problem because it was taking away land from many Africans. This caused many problems such as what I have already stated food, clean water, and basic sanitation loss. As you have read there are many different reasons that the African political borders had the most issues.

India and Pakistan have had the most problems with their border. The whole reason why this happened is because the British couldn't take care of the state anymore. This led to mayhem and destruction because they didn't know how to run their own country. They did not know how to get a leader or how to make a government. Which led to a huge migration Muslims moving to Pakistan and Hindus on India. This was a problem to people who had land in the other country. For example a man who is Muslim, who had land in India and didn't move could be killed for his religion. People are still being killed if they don't move today and the border also still has fight from the two different countries.

Nate F. Pd.3

The DMZ is a demilitarized zone so the two opposing countries could have a border where there's and area between them that the military cannot go in. Both countries put there best most well-fed men at their borders to almost brag that their country is better than the other. There is a break in the fence where many people of both militaries are to watch for any attacks.
Stephen H. pd. 2

When this 38th parallel was made, they didn't even have a say. At that point, North and South Korea didn't trust each other. This tension started growing at world war 2, then when they built the border, It is heavily guarded. Now one gets to South Korea alive. This shows they are fierce. and the tension turned to killing from both sides. These opposing countries won't even let their government go in these areas. This shows there are lives at stake.
Fletcher H. Period#6

I think this because the Korean DMZ is littered with electric fences and landmines everywhere. North and South Korea are in constant dispute and they trade fire over the border regularly. People who try and cross the DMZ usually die or make it to South Korea in serious condition. People who dare to cross the DMZ probably would rather die trying than living in North Korea one more day. One of the very few spots where the border is open is heavily guarded 24/7.
Jackson Biscotti p7

Since they have a DMZ it had divided two military forces and served as an agreement between the two countries to do nothing.I think this because they have their military/army guarding posts and haven't spoken to each other in a long time. North Korea has kept its self from learning about others and refuses to do so. Weapons and military forces are making sure that no one does anything. Maybe even nothing about the situation. With their army and forces standing by there is clearly a bad relationship between the two countries.

They have the biggest issue when it comes to the border because the border guards sometimes try to escape. About three weeks ago and one of the guards risked his life and ran all the way across the DMZ which is the border. That means that a man risked his life to cross the border. The border guards were also not able to catch the guard. Which means that the border isn't actually that well guarded.

One reason is North Korea does not agree on certain things South Korea does. They are two types of governments, so they disagree with each other a lot. The Korean War splitting up Korea into South Korea and North Korea caused for these highly militarized borders. These borders are heavily guarded, but some North Korean Guards try to cross the border. When this occurs they could get killed and there families could be sent to concentration camps in North Korea. In conclusion this is why I say that north and south Korea have the most border disputes.

The main reason for this is that it was created by in my option one of the most interesting war only second to the second World War This also has the most issues because of the issue with the DMZ, the best example of this is when the large amount of people from the North attempted to defect to the south in order to escape their ruler.Another big issue with the DMZ is that not one side can honestly claim it for them selves so it turns into a neutral zone, but at the same time it is one of the highest protected in the world. In conclusion I believe that the border with the most dispute and conflicts is silent at all , so that is why I believe that the border between north and south Korea is the most heated.

Why I think that this is the boarder with the most issues is because the people in North Korea don't always like there country and so they try to escape and then when they go in the people we keep them in so the can be civilized there then if Kim Jong Un finds out he will escacute the people. This is also a big problem because if it will make Kim Jong Un less happy and powerful so he will want to kill us a lot more. That is also why it is good we have the DMZ. I think this because the two countries have many economic differences, which leads to some bad things happening. For example, North Korea tries so hard to keep everyone inside the country, but when someone finds out that they can live a better life in South Korea, and they escape, it makes the leader really mad. South Korea believes that you should be able to travel anywhere, if you have the money. That is not something that North Korea believes in, so when people find out and try to escape, that makes North Korea really mad. So, they get in a fight with South Korea and it doesn't end well for anyone. That is why the DMZ is the border with the most issues.

They also have to ride bikes as transportation. In South Korea most of the citizens have cars as transpiration. Also South Korea is much more fed than North Korea.

Out of all the political borders that we have studied, I believe that the border between North Korea and South Korean border is the worst. I think this because, The DMZ is filled with soldiers and land mines to keep people from defecting. Even though there is a great risk of defecting people still do, and the North Korean side has solidior watching each other, so none defect.

Also people are careful not to escape because it could lead to them being executed. If they do escape into China they will send them back, on the other hand, if they escape to South Korea they will take them in and question them.

When looking at the current political borders and evaluating the highs and lows of each I can conclude the political border with the most issues is the Korean Demilitarized Zone or commonly known in abbreviations as the DMZ. The DMZ is formatted in a way that is thought to be "No escape" as a resource is a quote from Kim Jong-Un the current dictator of North Korea "There can be neither today without yesterday nor tomorrow without today." As humans we have tendency to form fear when everyday is at risk and he's no different so as we can interpret he thinks that without his people there is not today nor tomorrow nor yesterday nor any day for that matter. So he created a system of high power and that makes a whole concept and world that is North Korea a fear through no escape. They make it harder and more vigorous just out of plain fear that loosing people from their country could lead to the wreckage. They take common rights for other countries and turn them into sins. They created a border that is so monitored they watch their own forces meaning they know that people want to leave and they can trust, well, nobody. No body can leave if they are a citizen. If they do, it leads to death, uncertainties and promise of no mercy. Following with this clause I can say as a fact, the Korean Demilitarized Zone is the most issued Political Border.

Sylvia Brown Pd: 6

I believe they have the most issues because a lot of North Koreans have tried to cross the DMZ border and they keep getting caught or killed. North and South Korea also have a lot of trust issues with each other. They also fight about a lot of things, for example they have fought about where to put the borders. Also North Korea is a big enemy because of the war. The war really messed up the relationship between North and South Korea because the United States was on South Korea's side and that made North Korea very upset. All in all I think North and South Korea have the most issues.
