Hello word of padlet! Since we can't go out because of covid 19 and quarantine, we will stay inside during Christmas! But don't worry...be happy!:3
Covid changed Christmas so much....if we go out we have to send a message to 13033 and send one number for what reason we want to go out...we have to wear masks and we have to keep distance from each other...
But we will be with our families this Christmas with music and movies and many many warm hugs! We will get through this all together!
I wish you guys merry Christmas and be your bestest self these Christmas and every other Christmas! I wish we will get through as soon as possible that virus and continue our live normally!

Xmas Tree

Xmas and New Year 's Eve are much celebrated in Greece. Every family has a tree decorated, usually in early December, with a lot of ornaments and coloured lights......
This year, the covid19 quarantine has obscured our Xmas preparations. No Xmas carolls, no gatherings !
BUT it can't take our Xmas away, we stay optimistic, happy and we will definitely celebrate at home, safe and healthy!

The time of the year that we make melomakarona has finally come! Melomakarona are honey cookies with walnuts, they're the tastiest Christmas sweets and holidays are not complete if we don't make some. At least it's one thing that Covid can't stop us from doing. At the back you can see our Christmas tree and this year we decided to spice it up a little with a hat on top instead of a star✨ This holiday season, let's make it a point to cherish what's truly important in our lives: cookies!

Xmas customs in Greece

Hello etwinners, merry christmas and a happy New Year!!!!
Did you know that in Greece not only we decorate the xmas tree but we also decorate the small boat. It is a tradition that is rooted in the traditions of our country. It is decorated with lights, usually placed in the main square of a town and close to the more international Christmas tree.
People also decorated very small wooden boats at their houses.
Fortunately, a tradition like this is not affected by Covid-19.

I wish to my dearest etwinners a really Happy New Year and may this year change our life.
Even this terrible situation we did our best and decorated our homes and made the traditional cookies just to feel we are in A Christmas mood.
Let's hope that next year Christmas will be different from this year! And my secret hope to meet each other!!!!!!
