         <title>

What I
mostly enjoyed about the novel was Lachie and Sadie’s relationship. I thought
it was very clever that it was an off and on relationship and even though
Lachie was being a jerk to Sadie in front of his friends, Sadie always forgived
him. The way you described Sadie when she was around Lachie was very
descriptive and created a clear image in my head. My favourite part of their
relationship was when Lachie walked Sadie home after the pool competition.
Sadie asked him why he was being mean to her before and he answered with an
answer which made Sadie know that he really cared about her forgiveness. I
thought that was really cute and I could tell you really thought about what it
could lead to.&amp;nbsp;

         <title>

My
favourite aspect of Crow country, was the small ideas that all the characters
did for each other. For example, one of my favourite bits in the story was when
David and Ellie thought to paint Sadie’s room and eventually did in the same
day which was only for her benedict. The way Craig volunteered to coach the
Boort magpies so they can beat other teams was incredibly thoughtful as he
didn’t have the closest relationship with the Mortlocks. Finally, another
aspect of kindness displayed in this book was when Clarry asked Sadie back in
1933 for her help in hiding jimmy ravens body and keeping Mr. Mortlock away
from danger. She felt incredibly special and was honoured to have her Dad’s
trust.
