Introduction
For the multi-genre project, I chose how COVID has affected our lives. It is fascinating how much life has changed since then. With COVID we have lost so many things we did not even care about before. We miss all of these disliked things like IRL school. COVID is affecting us by changing our perspective of how impactful it was to have a group of people in a class for 8 hours a day. COVID has changed our lives for the better and the worse but humans are social beings and COVID is hurting us.
I chose to make an Obituary, a Recipe and a Timeline for the multi-genre project. I chose these because they effectively show how things have changed. I found the timeline challenging because it is hard to find exact dates. It was easy to do the recipe because it was fun to be creative and think outside the box. In the feedback I was told to adjust the TP measurements for the recipe so it was more realistic, so I changed the measurements to a more manageable amount.
Overall, I feel good about my project. I am really proud of how the Recipe turned out and I wish I had more time for the timeline because it was hard to find exact dates. If I were to do something like this again, I would change how I did my obituary by connecting the information more. I hope my project helps the reader to understand how before COVID life was so much harder with a lot less stress but we were not bored all the time. I would rather have the stress of regular life than the boredom of COVID.
