<title>Make every Friday asynchronous. Teachers can then use that time to Zoom 1:1 or small group with specific students who had not completed/ submitted the previous weeks assignments. If done every week, this would theoretically close the gap and keep failing students more up to speed. Would have to revamp Friday schedule slightly so all teachers availability with struggling students.</title>

<title>after school &quot;detentions&quot; for students failing, call it &quot;catch up&quot; or something more positive, but any students failing a course would be strongly encouraged (and have parental support) to attend. Can Spec ed students IEP&#39;s be &quot;reevaluated/updated&quot; noting they have opportunity to succeed/ample supports. Would this allow us to then help students (especially spec ed) who are willing to accept help, and also allow us to actually fail students who are not doing their work? </title>
