We flew to the Czech Republic, I was very excited and wanted to meet my adoptive family as soon as possible. I lived on the outskirts of the city, and the journey there took 30-40 minutes. After I had laid out my things, we contacted the other participants and agreed to join them at the shopping center. It was there that I tried squash for the first time and also just had a good time.

Tuesday 17.10

In the morning we went to school, where we presented a project about our country, and also listened to a presentation about the Czech Republic. We also tried a lot of national dishes, because the Czech side prepared a whole table for us.
I liked the fact that everyone at school had their own personal locker where they could put their personal belongings. I was also surprised by the fact that everyone walks around the school in shifts, so as not to bring dirt from the street.

Wednesday 18.10

On this day we arrived at the zoo, we were divided into teams and also given a sheet with tasks. In my opinion, the tasks were unnecessary because because of them we did not have time to see everything we wanted.
After the zoo we ate in the cafeteria. After which we went for a walk around the city. At about 7 pm we returned home where I was fed pumpkin soup, which I tried for the first time in my life, after which we played games and went to bed.

Thursday 19.10

We visited the Agricultural Museum, at the end of which we had a master class on sorting. There I also learned that in the Czech Republic there are not 3-4 garbage cans like we have, but as many as 8. After the museum we went to a restaurant where they served very tasty food. After eating we went to the shopping center where we had some free time. And after this time we returned home where I tried Nachos for the first time in my life.

Friday 20.10

Friday - I call this day a walking day, because we walked all day. First we climbed the mountains and visited the museum of mirrors. After which we walked around the city and completed tasks. (due to which I could not fully enjoy the beauty of the city). After which we went to the canteen of the Faculty of Law. The food there is very similar to our food in our canteen, only probably a little better.

Saturday 21.10

This was the most fun day of this trip because we were allowed to decide what we could do throughout the day - I was also able to sleep. During the day we visited an interesting cafe where they served interesting traditional desserts, and also went to the Museum of Illusions. I also finally saw the dancing house - but I didn’t get much impression from it, I only saw a little architectural complexity and nothing more, but I liked it.

Sunday 22.10

It was the last full day in Prague, it was a little sad.
In the morning we visited laser tag, which was very different from ours, so at first we didn’t understand anything. After which we walked around the shopping center and went bowling. There we had a good time, played games, and also discussed our emotions from this project.

Monday 23.10

It was my shortest day, I woke up and almost immediately went to the airport. I had breakfast there and we flew to Latvia.
