11:25AM- Cam and Marcel texted. Cam was upset because he caught Aiden rummaging through their stuff. Cam doesn't want Aiden to come over anymore. Marcel disagrees.

2:15PM- Jenn and Marcel texted. Jenn took Marcel's car without permission and wrecked it. They were going to call and talk about it after Marcel got off work. Marcel was mad and upset.

3:30PM- Aiden and Marcel texted. Aiden was going to meet Marcel at work.

10:45PM- Cam and Marcel texted. Marcel was going to batting practice to work on his swinging for their upcoming baseball game. Cam was out somewhere (don't know where).

4:30PM- Naomi texted Marcel. She asked where he was. (he didn't show up to work)

9:00AM- Naomi texted Marcel. She asked where he was and told him to come to work immediately.

12:00PM- Cam texted Marcel. He asked where he was because Naomi called and said that Marcel was not at work.

2:00PM- Naomi Lee emailed Marcel about his work schedule. She thanked him for taking extra shifts and wrote down the hours that she was gonna have him work.

10:03AM- Kay Litrell sent Marcel an email claiming Marcel had been stealing her tips. She was told by Naomi that he would be working that night so she told Marcel to give back her tips or "you'll regret it."

4:07PM- Marcel got an email from Anytown Dentistry reminding him about an appointment. They were confirming the appointment for his abscessed tooth, to remove it and relieve the pain in his mouth. They also noted that he should be 15 minutes early and if he needs to reschedule or cancel his appointment.

Fixed lividity does not occur until 8-10 hours after death, but there were no signs of rigor mortis which happens at around 36 hours after death. The green discoloration of the body occurs around 24-48 hours after death. The larva found in Marcel's wound is also known as a blue bottle fly and they don't typically grow to that size until at least 24 hours after being laid.

This means that Marcel's estimated time of death is around 36 hours from the time he was found.

The email from Marcel's dentist stated that he was taking acetaminophen for his abscessed tooth, which helps us understand why it is in his system. He most likely had caffeine in his system because he had a cup or two of coffee.

Recommendation for Law Enforcement -

We recommend that no one be taken into custody and the case should be closed because Marcel's death was caused by a heart attack, a natural cause, which means no one else was involved in his death.
