After Dickens death she married a man, who didn’t suspect she was the writer’s mistress, and both founded a  boys’ school.

  • HAWAI 5.0: So-so
  • MAJOR CRIMES: Provenza has the most clear diction, Megan the worst
  • ELEMENTARY: Impossible to understand anything
  • SCORPION: Very dificult
  • THE BIG BANG THEORY: Impossible to understand at the begining. Now I've improved my listening comprehension.

My school is involved in a two-year project of collaboration and exchanging with other schools of different european countries. 
I started to learn English last year after 25 years because I wanted to work in the project.
Every year we have prepared three meetings in different countries among students and teachers to talk about different issues. The students  prepare expositions, videos, they give some speechs and, the most important, they know other countries and people from the rest of Europe. Teachers help them to make the reports,  to prepare the blog, and organise the meetings.

I didn't enyoy the text much, maybe because it was a too addapted text and I just had read it without looking for information. There the teacher explained to us that it was a classic of the XIX century. A criticism of the aristocracy. We were talking about diferent aspects of the book and we saw five minutes of the film.

Unfinished project of Orson  Wells, who  worked intermitently on it during more than ten years. Eventually edited by Jesús Franco. In the film we can see the adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho, mixed with  images of Easter processions, Saint Fermin "encierros" and Moorish and Chistian war. 
Amazing.

17 January: We were eight. The topic: "Spielberg films". We talked about "ET the Extra-Terrestrial", "Gremlins" and  " Schindler's List". Interesting argument about the last film.
29 February: We were seven or eight. The topic "Discribing photos".

I often come acoss with tourists who ask me for the adress of their apartment, or the train station, or how to buy  a transport card. Some of them  ask for advise. Sometimes, it's me who offers  help, when I see somebody with a suitcase or a map . 
The most amazing happened last month when a group of more than 30 teenajers collapsed the ticket machines of Universitat station, trying to buy singel tickets. I convinced them to buy T10 tickets and to share them.

Great, with short chapters, easy to read and it made me often laugh. The first sixty pages, after reading a chapter, I looked for all the vocabulary I didn’t know or I was not sure about. (Then I laugh more because I could understand much more jokes and proverbs). The rest of the book I only looked for some words ocasionaly or when I didn't understand the chapter.
A lot of new vocabulary, specially informal and a little of slang.

Wanderful story about friendship and love between Philip, a hunchback peinter who lived in the Great Marsh' lighthous, and Fritha, a young girl who gave a hurt snow goose to him. Every automn the goose came back, and Frida with it. 
After the Dunkerk disaster, Philip went to France with his boat and the goose to save the soldiers on the beaches, taking them to the ships in the deeper water.
After many journeys he was shot by the German planes.

But now I was interestedn in Bob Dylan. Why had he won the Nobel prize? 
I looked for his songs in Youtube, and for the lyrics on the Internet. Here you have some exemples I have enjoyed. Most of them are very popular and some singers have versions o covers of them.
He has been a  prolific author, a symbol of the protest songs. His lyrics are meaningful, many of them can be seen as poems, but in my opinion, the Nobel prize is too much.
