It lasted 13 years, until Dickens death. Despite the intensity of their feelings and the separation from his wife, Charles was a great public man and had to avoid the scandal. So, their relationship couldn’t be noticed. After Dickens death she married a man, who didn’t suspect she was the writer’s mistress, and both founded a boys’ school.
Good location, great use of flashback to explain this dramatic and interesting story.

LISTENING, READING and SINGING Bob Dylan songs

I usually listen to the music that my husband and daughters choose. But now I was interestedn in Bob Dylan. Why had he won the Nobel prize?
I looked for his songs in Youtube, and for the lyrics on the Internet. Here you have some exemples I have enjoyed. Most of them are very popular and some singers have versions o covers of them.
He has been a prolific author, a symbol of the protest songs. His lyrics are meaningful, many of them can be seen as poems, but in my opinion, the Nobel prize is too much.

" Knockin' On Heaven's Door" (Written for the soundtrack of the film "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid "

"Blowin' in the Wind" (a protest song with questions about peace, war and freedom)

"The Times They Are A-Changin'"(nothing to add)
