1. What is the topic about?
Peace Process with the ELN.
2. Why did you choose it?
The national government is at the negotiation table for a possible peace process.
3. Why is it relevant in society?
Because Colombian society has been affected for decades by the conflict between these illegal groups.
 The society
1. How this social topic is developed in the world?
In Colombia, there was a peace process with the FARC guerrilla group, for which the president of the time was nominated Nobel Peace Prize winner and demobilized big groups of militant people.
2. How well-developed is the topic in Colombia?
On August 3 in Bogotá, the National Participation Committee will be installed, which is a special, transitory, articulated and coordinated instance of the Dialogue Table between the Colombian government and the ELN that will facilitate the involvement of civil society in this peace process (Navarro, C. (2023).

3. What are some positive and negative views about this topic in Colombia? Explain with arguments (quotes, statistics, references, examples) each of the questions

The society and the profession role
1.How is your profession related to this social topic? Why?
Because, being a student of a humanist university, and with an entrepreneurial approach, it is possible to relate entrepreneurship and give the bases and jobs to people who participated and were victims of the armed conflict.
2. How can you contribute from your profession to this social topic? Why?
As a future business administrator, I can contribute by training and guiding micro-entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs who have been victims of the armed conflict.
3. How can you improve this social topic regarding your professional and personal role in Colombia?
It would be possible to contribute with my experience and knowledge as a future business administrator and as a Colombian student I would like my country to grow economically, socially and to stop stigmatizing Colombia as a producer of violence and coca.

1. What are your final thoughts about the topic?
The peace pact should include and respect the agreements reached and not be a salute to the flag.
2. What are the ways to improve it in Colombia? (conclusions)

Realizing a true inclusion of the demobilized and a sincere recognition so that they are not stigmatized and can be ordinary citizens.

]]> 2023-07-17 00:40:49 UTC https://padlet.com/delymora/chomm1aurgpivq4j/wish/2645921232 STEP 3. “Society and social problems”. delymora https://padlet.com/delymora/chomm1aurgpivq4j/wish/2645946730 The peace process in Colombia with the ELN is not a new process, since here there is a peace process with the armed group Farc which was signed in the Presidential period of Santos, and with this many failed attempts, but with this last one it was possible and with which it was sought that this group would disappear, reparations and forgiveness could be given to the thousands of victims of this group.

The peace process was signed and processed, but its objective was not truly fulfilled, since worldwide President Santos was nominated Nobel Peace Prize, but really here in Colombia it was not fulfilled to the militants, so to speak, since many of them were killed for becoming or helping social leaders in the integration of the demobilized so that their rights were no longer violated, many were displaced and stigmatized by the same society, for which many took up arms again. 

As a student of business administration, I consider that it is possible to organize workshops or the creation of a cooperative where labor training can be provided and they know more activities than war, they can be supported in the strengthening, creation and innovation of products and small businesses that most certainly provide more work to them and provide a grain of sand, and thus promoting the Colombian economy and do not leave them to oblivion and stigmatizing them for what they once were, since many times they were also victims of the same conflict forced by the oblivion of the same Colombian state.
