Here we can call it reproduction. For example: When 2 adults from the opposite gender reproduce it is more so likely that they will have a baby. But as for plants they can reproduce on their own. When this person touched the hot pan it burned them. So, How do they react to that? As you can see it leaves them being burnt and in pain so their brain automatically tells them to let go. They change over time, now the fingerprint itself is the same, but as you are a baby the ridges in your hands that cause you to grip things like a pen, or paper are not fully developed. And the lines in your hands are too close together, and that is why normally as a baby the doctors would print your feet but not so much your hands. Though as you get older you begin to see you prints more and more. Now, as an elderly or as you get older in age your skin starts to sag being where your fingerprints would start to spread out. Now say if this person were to commit a crime and they took the shirt they were wearing and threw it out in a nearby garbage can. Well, you could take that shirt and actually get the person's DNA off of it. If you wipe your hand on your pants that alone leaves let's say 500 cells alone. Well, this person's shirt has to have anywhere to 30,000 cells.
