For this charity event called “Thanksgiving Bazaar” I’ve sold several portraits which were drawn in a couple of hours. Also, I sold some quick portraits on the spot. Moreover, I managed to sell my old bike. Funny thing, my classmates thought that nobody would be interested in buying an old bike. But it turned out to be completely opposite. There were five or six potential buyers. It was an interesting and fun event. Really enjoyed it.

Today, I cleaned the park. I took a trash bag and started picking up rubbish from the ground. There were many pieces of paper, plastic bottles, and empty cans. I sculpted a bust of Zeus out of clay by first shaping a strong base to support the head. I slowly built up the form, starting with the neck and face. I used my hands and tools to shape the nose, eyes, and mouth, paying attention to the strong features that Zeus is known for. I added a thick beard and long hair, giving the bust a powerful and god-like look. After smoothing the surface and fixing the details, I let the clay dry. It was hard work, but I was proud of the final result.

I played the bass guitar in a band for Family Day and also during the 20th anniversary celebration of the UACS. WIZZ AIR marathon

Volunteering at the marathon was a rewarding yet challenging experience that allowed me to contribute to my community while supporting others in achieving their goals. My role involved handing out water to the runners and cheering them on as they passed by. Although it seemed like a simple task, it required constant energy and enthusiasm, which was especially difficult for me because I was feeling sick that day. Despite not being at my best, I pushed through and stayed committed to helping the runners, realizing how much a small gesture of encouragement or a bottle of water could motivate them to keep going. The experience taught me perseverance and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude even in tough circumstances. It also deepened my appreciation for teamwork, community spirit, and the shared determination that drives people to achieve something meaningful together.

Sewing a costume

For this activity in Creativity section, I decided to sew my own Halloween costume. I began by searching for sewing pattern ideas and choosing materials that would suit my theme and skill level, so it is not too difficult to work with. I then planned the steps, measured and cut the fabric, and used a sewing machine to assemble the pieces. Throughout the process, I learned new sewing techniques, problem solved when things didn’t fit as expected, and reflected on how creative projects can be both fun and challenging. Completing the costume gave me a sense of accomplishment and happiness, also helped me appreciate the effort behind handmade creations.

Making a knife replica

I made a prop knife by turning an ordinary plastic ruler and a block of wood into a single piece and carving it down with a Dremel carving machine. First I traced a paper form onto the ruler, then carved out a rough shape. Then made a handle out of a chunk of wood, then used the Dremel’s carving bits to refine the curves until the everything looked as I wanted. After careful sanding I painted both, the ruler with silver metallic paint, and wooden handle with matt black. The result turned out very nicely, as expected, and I am really happy with the replica.

Making a custom car livery (in game)

I created a custom car livery in-game by carefully layering and combining different decals to form a specific shape and overall design. Since the editor didn’t have the exact patterns I wanted, I had to improvise by rotating, resizing, and distorting basic shapes like stripes, triangles, and circles until they fit together seamlessly. It was a slow, process where each piece had to align perfectly to maintain symmetry and the shape of the design I intended to make. Also getting the colors, shading, and proportions right was especially tricky, since one tiny adjustment could ruin the whole look of the design. Despite how challenging and time consuming it was, seeing the final livery come together exactly as I imagined made all the effort completely worth it.

Reflection

Working on this project with my class was a meaningful experience for all of us. Our goal was simple but important: to collect food, cook meals, and give them to people in need. From the start, we could see how powerful teamwork and kindness can be.

The first step was gathering food. We want to give special thanks to everyone from the school who donated. Watching the donation boxes fill up showed us how much people care and how a community can come together for a good cause.

When me and my classmates only started planning this project, i was a little overwhelmed. Since it was our first time doing something like this altogether, i did not know how will it turn out, will it go according to plan, will it fail at the first stage. However, after we distributed all labour, decided who is responsible for a certain task, it became clearer. Albeit, i was doubting, if the project will move from the stage of collecting the donations (food). During the first days, there weren't as many donations as i would have hoped. However, a few days later, the donations box was full. This couldn't help but please us all.

After collecting the food, we cooked rice and chicken. This part taught us a lot about working together. We had to communicate, help one another, and stay organised. Even though it wasn’t always easy, cooking as a group brought us closer and made us feel responsible for the quality of the meals.

Overall, this project taught us empathy, teamwork, and the importance of helping others. It was a rewarding experience, and I’m grateful that we could do something meaningful for our community.

Feeding a limping cat

When i was on my way home, i saw this cat. I noticed he was hurt. Then he looked at me and meowed, then i couldn't just walk by. I had some money on me, so i went to the store and bought him some food. The only concern i had was, that when i come back he would not be there. But to my surprise, he was on the same spot, waiting. When he saw, that i am opening the tin can, he started meowing and walking around me. When i opened the can, he proceeded to eat. I felt happy on the inside, knowing he will not be starving the upcoming cold night.

Wrapping a present

In this activity i learned how to wrap a present. Since i have never attempted it before, it was quite challenging. I had to look up a tutorial on the internet, to succeed. I really did not wan to mess up any of the folds, since, if i did, it would not look as good as it could have. At one point i did mess up. And had to start all over again. However, the second time was way easier, because i already knew how to begin. When i finished taping the last foldage to the box, i was quite surprised by how well it looked. I was very pleased, to see, that the person who i gifted it to, has also noticed the effort put in.

Here I applied different style of sketching and shading. I used charcoal pencil to focus on the film’s dark atmosphere through shadowing and light. Here I played with contrasts, letting dark black points to harmonize with the elements of light.

Guitar tutoring lesson

Playing baseball (catch)

Me and my friend headed over to the park and spent the afternoon on the grass field playing a simple game of catch. Instead of a full setup, we mostly focused on throwing the ball back and forth and practicing our catching. It was a nice way to spend the time, also the rhythm of the game made it really enjoyable. Just being out on the grass and working on our coordination made for a great, relaxed session.

Badminton

I tried out badminton today, which was a brand new experience for me. Since I was just starting out, I focused on the basics like gripping the racket and timing my swings to actually hit the shuttlecock. My friend and I kept the pace slow, mostly just trying to keep a simple volley going back and forth. It was a straightforward introduction to the sport, but it was surprisingly enjoyable to pick up a new skill and get a bit of a workout in.
