Having the main skills and qualities relating to being organised and planning out time effectively to run a team of workers. Being able to a variety of jobs at the workplace and showing some interest and knowledge in each job. Meaning having skills at cooking, house keeping, costumer service and a bit of financial management for check in and check out. A manager would be required to understand all the roles of the jobs fully to teach any new future staff/workers that may require assistance in different departments of work. The manager would need to have a good understanding of finance throughout the Hotel in order to understand how to gain profits instead of creating loss. A manager would most likely also need to be creative by thinking quick of different ways that complaints can be avoided in terms of quickly understanding the problem and finding a quiet solution to not create too much noise. In this sense of creativity a manager is also required to know how to think of quick and exciting events to daily entertain the new guests that visit the Hotel

A potential College that I have had an interest for is the International College of Hotel Management in Adelaide Australia. This College is of a high standard that provides both work experience and theoretical skills in the psychology of customers at the Hotel such as avoiding complaints. It provides the course of Swiss Hotel Association that teaches both the practical and business courses in Hotel Management. The Campus provides a wide range of facilities involving Hotel's Restaurants, Bars, Hotel front desks, Kitchens, etc. These facilities are high class and replicate the idea of working in an actual visited Hotel. The course provides a 6-7 month each year of work experience in a real Hotel to boost students understanding of how a Hotel runs and what organisation is needed each day. At the end of the whole course the College then links you with a great job offer in various Hotels around the world based on your strength during your whole 3-6 year training at the College.

BTEC Level 3 Diploma (Business or Travel & Tourism) with Subsidiary Diploma totaling 240 UCAS Tariff Points.

http://www.ichm.edu.au/

Based off my Moresby results I showed some more strengths towards visual exercises and organisational exercises, providing that I had more strength in organisation which is a huge requirement in being a Hotel Manager. I had more weaknesses in literary exercises providing that I would show some weakness towards any long paragraphs of emails regarding reservations from customers. I did show a bit of strength in finance proving that I should be able to function the front desk accordingly in an organised manner.
