Well, almost. I am in Eureka, California. A few hundred miles north of San Francisco and a hundred miles south of the Oregon border. We have access to the mountains and the beach within minutes and the weather here is said to have all seasons in one day. The county of Humboldt has less than 100,000 residents and we are considered a rural area. I started a family child care program and became accredited, started taking ECE classes and continued the program for 10 years. Needing a career change and a challenge I applied for a teaching position at the local community college. At a training a few months ago I was asked the question, "What are you personally working on?" It took me a while to think of an answer and I blurted out, "have more fun." I am still working on this goal.
