Combined with sound pedagogical principles and practices these can greatly enhance the learning experience for students. But how is this done? How can we as learning designers and course builders work collaboratively with subject matter experts to design and build learning experiences which make the most of what technology offers? How can we combine pedagogy with technology to engage learners and enhance learning?

2020 saw many businesses undergoing significant, rapid change as they adapted to the challenges the pandemic presented. Key benefits of micro-credentials include how specific and industry-relevant they are, and that they are achievable in a short period of time (or self-paced). It would be interesting to find businesses with staff who undertook micro-credentials to learn skills needed to adapt to changing businesses needs in a tight timeframe, as they would be able to provide applied and specific examples of how their studies impacted their businesses.

https://business.adelaide.edu.au/news/list/2020/04/01/how-businesses-are-adapting-their-offerings-in-response-to-coronavirus-covid
