They grew rice in the south

Crops were grown for the farmers and to supply the army and cities w/ food

They also raised pigs and chickens

They traded a lot of silk and it was very valuable

The different dynasties warred a LOT

The Han dynasty ended by war, like many other dynasty’s. Warlords would war against the emperor and eventually overthrow them

Sometimes it wasn’t war, it was just an uprising against a horrible ruler.
