I am married to Ronnie Kotler, who has his own locksmith business and enjoys woodworking, being my 'chef', as well as revving up his BBQ smoker for the best meat you could ever taste :) We have a black Schnauzer named "Winston" who goes everywhere with us. We like hiking, traveling, gardening, cooking, and quiet evenings at home. I have had the privilege of living and teaching all over the United States - I started my career as a music teacher in Kansas, and then moved to Ohio, Minnesota, & Missouri where I took time off to be home with my sons, Benjamin (42 years old who lives in St. Louis, MO) and Nate (40, who lives in Denver, CO with his wife and my grandchildren; Olivia who is 8 and Noah who is 5). Ronnie's son, Travis, lives here so we get to see him quite often :) I went back into teaching after moving to southern California. Since we seemed to like adventure, we found ourselves living in Maine, and then eventually moved west to Albuquerque, NM. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, & 5th grades as a classroom teacher; but while a music teacher I worked with pre-school through high school students. As you can see, I LOVE teaching and learning about the many regions of the United States.
