Getting kids to eat their vegetables can be a bit difficult. In her book and website, Ellyn Satter offers advice oh how to deal with children that do not want to eat their vegetables. She mentions that it is important to follow the division of responsibility. It is never a good idea to pressure your kids to eat a food that they don't want to eat. Pressuring can result to them having a negative experience with that food and eventually being turned off from that food completely. One other advice Ellyn Satter gives is to make family meals a priority. This is a simple, yet important component because your child will be able to see what and how you eat and they too will try foods that you are eating including some vegetables.

A dish that most kids enjoy to eat is pizza. In this recipe, you are creating a healthier version of pizza that includes vegetables. Getting kids to eat vegetables is difficult at time, but perhaps by incorporating them into their favorite food, they will learn to like it. This recipe is a great way to get your kids involved in the cooking process. They can pick which vegetables they want as toppings. This is helpful when it comes to your children eating their vegetables because they are picking ones that they already enjoy. You can also start to slowly introduce new vegetables with this recipe by also including them with your kid'd favorite vegetables.

Majority of the time we are too focused on whether the children at the table are getting enough to eat which can result in everyone not enjoying their meal. Here are some tips that will help you have a pleasant meal with your family. Many parents want their children to eat every item that is on their plate, that takes away from both the parent and children enjoying their meal. Instead the parent should put all the options on the table and let their children select what and how much they are going to eat. Enjoy your meal and let your children enjoy theirs. Your child will see how you eat and pick up on some of your eating habits.
