Thank you, Greece, for giving us medicine.

If it were not for medicine, my wife would have died. She received a kidney transplant and heart valve replacement, and the medicine she takes literally keeps her alive. Our family would not be as close as we are without my amazing wife. She is the glue that holds us all together, and her kindness is incredible.

I literally could not live without her. She has to take over 30 pills a day to survive. Without the Greeks developing and inventing medicine, she would not be here today. Thank you, Greece!

Thank you Greece for giving us medicine. Medicine is very important because it helps people stay alive and helps their body stay healthy. My dad takes medicine because he got a surgery and now he takes medicine to help the pain. I also take medicine because i play sports and get injured a lot. Medicine helps people live without pain and also helps them live. Nurses give medicine out a lot because it is known to help people. This is very important because without it a lot of people wouldn’t survive or wouldn’t be healthy, or they could be living in constant pain. This is why medicines is important

Thank you, Greece for giving us sports. If we didn't have sports people wouldn't be as close as we are. Sports bring people together, because they have to work together to get to the same goal. If the Greeks didn't invent sports we wouldn't be as healthy as we are today. Sports give us exercise and make us stronger in a fun way. Ever wondered what sports actually do for us other than make us stronger? It helps teach us patience, organization, and collaboration. These are examples of soft skills that might just give us a job in the future. If sports weren't invented by the Greeks, who knows what we would know. Thank you so much Greece for giving us sports. If we didn't have sports we wouldn't be as close to people, by as strong, or learn great soft skills for a job in the future.

Thank you for inventing computers and calculators it helps us so much now in 2026 you are the best greece I don’t know what we’d do without computers or calculators. we use the calculators to help us with math and we use computers for tech ed we use them for 3D modeling. So thank you so much Greece for giving us computers and calculators :)

For medicine! Modern medicine saves lives every single day. The practice of medicines in the medical field is something everyone should be endlessly grateful for. Whether it’s something simple like to fix a headache or something drastic, it’s incredibly helpful. Medicine then wasn’t as advanced as it is now, but it still was very helpful then as well. Some people have to take certain pills every single day to keep them healthy and alive. Both pills with simpler outcomes (Like vitamins) and pills that save lives are important. (Not to mention liquid medicines as well.)

Showers

Thank you Greece for giving me showers! The most important thing they invented for me is showers. I hate being dirty and or stinky. Showers are so nice, not only do they clean you whole body but its also a good way to chill or wake up, since you can change the temperature of the water. Showers are so healthy for your body. I use a shower every single day. I always feel amazing after one and its very easy to use one.

Thank you Greece, for giving us maps. If we didn’t have maps we would not be able to go where we want. If we didn’t have maps nobody would know where they are going. If I’m trying to go to my grandmas house and I didn’t know where it was then I would just use maps. If we didn’t have maps I would not be able to go to my grandmas house because I don’t know where it would be. If we didn’t have maps and it was an emergency then nobody would know where to go. If we didn’t not have maps we would not be at school right now and be learning because we would not know where the school is. So we thank you greeks.

Thank you, Greece for sports. Without sports a lot of kids would be unhealthy and lazy. For some kids (like me) they do sports to get away from everything else. Sports is their escape from school, family and everything else. Many people have made lifelong relationships through sports. A lot of people do sports because it helps stress. Sports help you stay in shape and healthy because you’re getting up and doing something. Sports help a ton of people with mental health issues.

Thank you Greece to invite alarm clocks.

If I don’t have it I can’t wake up on time. I mom kneed to wake me up everyday if we don’t have alarms.I will miss the bus everyday. My mom will be frustrated to wake me up.When we cook food sometime we need to set a alarm.If you need to go to some where you need to set a alarm to help you remember.

Thank you Greeks for giving us medicine. If we didn't have medicine a lot of people would die from things that we try to avoid. Things like. Cancer is one thing that you need medicine to survive it is something that you can get at all ages at really young age. Innocent kids who have barely lived life are getting cancer. There are other diseases and issues where medicine is big in surviving . If medicine weren't a thing sickness would speed so quickly and no way to stop them without medicine .Medicine can stop people from dieing and stop other things like pain.Thats why I think medicine is the best thing they gave us .

I'm thankful for the Greece because without medicine we would not be the same as we are today. i chose medicine because i think it impacts many life's for the good. Many people would not be here with us without the medicine that they take. It helps me in my life because whenever im sick i tend to take medication and it helps relive most of the pain that I’ve had. Also medicine is not only for pain it’s a way to stay healthy and safe from many different diseases. Medicine also helps many people get rid of life threatening things. Without Greece many people would not be alive today.

thank you Greece for giving us plumbing. It has done so much for us like clean our bathrooms. Keep the streets from being overflowed or pushing back that sewage. Its helps to overall keep our house clean and not stinky. It also keeps our water clean so we don't have waste water and are able to actually drink safe and clean water. It helps from contaminating our living area with bacteria. It also helps with flooding so are houses toys electronics and much more aren’t ruined. Lastly it provides us with hot water so your not siting in a freezing cold shower for 10 minutes straight trying to clean your body.

Thank you, Greece, for giving us math.

Everything in the world relies on math. One example is making food. In almost every recipe you use math to scale the recipes to make more or less portions. For medicine you do the same, as well as figuring out the correct dose for your age so it doesn’t kill you and actually helps you. We use it to calculate the cost of groceries or anything else we might buy. Art is made of shapes, which is geometry. Music is full of patterns which is an important part of mathematics. Computers relay on patterns in the form of programming.

So thank you, Greece, for math and every other invention you gave us.

Thank you Greece for maps! Without them, we probably couldn’t get around easily. Maps help us find our way to our destination. If we didn’t have maps, we would get lost to trying to get to our destination. My family uses maps to get around so that we don’t go somewhere else on accident. My bus driver uses maps so that he knows where our houses and the school are. If my bus driver didn’t have maps, he would have to memorize all of our addresses plus the school’s address and that would be very hard. We wouldn’t be able to get where we want to go without memorizing our environment and that would be very difficult. We probably would’ve forgotten all the places we were trying to remember because we would have to know where our school is, our job, our house and to get food and a lot more so there would be many places to remember. I’m so glad we have maps to we can get to places. Thank you, Greece!

Thank you, Greece!

One of the most important things Greek gave us are heaters. Without heater during the winter or any time it’s really cold outside you would be freezing inside. Heaters help this because without them people could freeze even inside their house because they have no heat. People would get sick from how cold it would be in their houses because it would be just as cold inside as it is outside. Lots of people hate being cold so the heater helped with that. It also kept people warm and cozy during the winter. Without out this people would not be able to sit comfortably because of how cold they would be.
