I am in school in the mornings but at the end of the day I bring the child to the door and greet the parents, I then tell them if the child had a good day or rough day, I also tell them about what activities we’ve done.

We teach the children how to respect others, we build relationships with the parents, and we all care for the children. We have talks with the parents, like what their child is allergic too, or how they prefer them to take naps or curtains they don’t want them to nap. They have trust in us daycare workers to provide the best care for their child during the day.

Building relationships with the children and the parents is a big thing for working in a Daycare Facility because we are the teachers that looks after each area during the time parents drop off 8am until 5pm pick up time. Parents gives us trust into taking care of their child/ren during the day.
