<title>Every book has a story to tell and in that story we see a theme or a message that makes us wonder and relate. In these three books I have read I have noticed that throughout the book&#39;s you see innocent children pure children who are getting hit with daggers of hate and prejudice.</title>

<title>In the book &quot; To Kill A Mocking Bird&quot; we see innocent children question why there is hate and harm to black people even though they are just like them. For example take Dill Harris he is one of the children who doesn&#39;t like what is going on in Maycomb. In the trial part of the book Dill starts crying because he doesn&#39;t like how people are excusing a black man of something he didn&#39;t do. This kid is pure and innocent and kids don&#39;t learn how to hate unless they are taught that way. But in society there is a lot of hate that some parents teach their kids to &quot;not play with this kid because he is black&quot;. &quot; He can harm you&quot;.</title>

<title>In the book &quot;Witness&quot; there is this girl named Esther Hirsh and she is a little Jewish girl so she has experienced hate herself. Even though she us a little girl she has a big heart. She wasn&#39;t taught how to hate. Matter of fact her best friend is a black girl. Even though she is hated by this secret society the KKK she always powers on. She has seen things dangerous and hateful happen right in front of her. She is only six years old. She has seen hate and felt hate but she still has that big heart of her&#39;s to keep going on </title>

<title>In the book &quot;Warriors Don&#39;t Cry&quot; Melba the main character has a younger brother named Conrad. Now they both are black so they face a lot of hate. Melba goes to a all white school so she gets more hate than Conrad. Conrad is so innocent he is always by Melba&#39;s side. He is so young to be seeing this hate but he doesn&#39;t go out and cause trouble he just goes through it. He is being hit with all this prejudice and hate and he doesn&#39;t let it get to him. In the end he became something better than this he became the first black captain of the Arkansas state troops.</title>

<title>My favorite character in &quot; To Kill A Mocking Bird&quot; is Atticus Finch. He is so inspiring and courteous. He is not like everyone else he teaches his kids how to love and not to hate. Throughout the story he helps black people which people get furious about. He isn&#39;t prejudice and hateful. he is always there for people and he doesn&#39;t let anything stop him from doing something right. He always tells his kids stories and what is wrong and not to be quick to judge. I want to be someone like Atticus one day.</title>

<title>My favorite character in &quot;Witness&quot; is Esther Hirsh. Even though she is so young she still has a big heart. She faces hate all day but she doesn&#39;t let things like that change her life. Throughout the book she is so inspiring that she makes you doubt yourself. &quot;Am I doing the right thing or the wrong thing&quot;? She faces lots of struggles for being Jewish but she always keeps moving forward. For a little girl that is someone you want to be.</title>

<title>My favorite character in &quot;Warriors Don&#39;t Cry&quot; is Melba&#39;s grandmother India. India is so inspiring and uplifting to Melba. She helps a lot with her life telling her not to worry and to always have faith in God. She is always telling Melba Bible quotes and things that uplift her. Throughout the story India has always been there for Melba. She has been through the same thing as her so she helps her be strong. India herself is very strong she is not afraid of nobody and won&#39;t let anyone hate or discrimination get to her. </title>

<title> In the book &quot; To Kill A Mocking Bird&quot; my favorite quote is by Atticus Finch and he said “Before I can live with other folks I’ve got to live with myself.” This quote means a lot to me because it is saying before I can go out and judge other people I have to look at myself first. People always make fun of others before thinking that they have flaws too. I can&#39;t go tell someone you&#39;re ugly and I have bad hygiene. Besides maybe there may not be something on the outside that is wrong with you, but on the inside there is a lot of problems because you haven&#39;t considered anyone else&#39;s feelings. This tells me that I need to pay attention to what I am doing first than see what everyone else is doing. </title>

<title>In the book &quot;Warriors Don&#39;t Cry&quot; my favorite quote is when Melba said this “The effort to separate ourselves whether by race, creed, color, religion, or status is as costly to the separator as to those who would be separated.” That is such a powerful quote it speaks to me. I agree with this quote so much because this is so true. The person who bullies another one day will regret it. Like Andy in the story he did so much mean and hurtful things to Melba because she is &quot;black&quot;. I know a lot of people who have came to regret the decision they have taken before and it haunts them. I believe that we should think about our actions to others before we act or things like regret will happen and nothing is more worse than having done something and coming to regret your action.</title>

<title>In the book &quot;Witness&quot; my favorite quote was &quot;every generation has felt somewhat the same for two or three thousand years and the still the world goes on.” This quote is so true because it is true. We have had wars and many terrible things in American like the KKK and now this fight against racism which is still going on. We all have problems but we still keep going. There is no such thing as the generation of idiots if we were really idiots than why do we have all these amazing new technology? We all have had times where we wanted to give up but in the end we don&#39;t and just like the quote says we keep moving and prospering hoping for the best.</title>
