- Has a ramp leading to the door
- Door handle and id scanner is at a wheelchair accessible height so you are able to scan and unlock the door
- Door opens for you when you scan id and this is covid friendly as it leads to less people touching the door handle
- Railings are available on both sides of the ramp for support

Queer Resource Center

- A doorbell is available.
- Railings are available at both the stairs and the ramp to help anyone who needs extra support

What might help:
- Power doors with sensors at entrances that are convenient for all users. Doors should be wide enough.

-offers coffee and pastries for all students on campus. since it is a coffee shop, there is not or was not remote access during COVID.
-equipped with a variety of seating including outdoors as well in order to house social activity, gathering, and place to study.
-Peter B’s is wheelchair accessible with a ramp outside and door handles that are full length
-pretty great coffee imo! (white chocolate mochas is a W)

The role of the Student Accessibility Resource Center is to promote fair opportunities for students with diagnosed disabilities.
-The building has stairs and an accessible ramp.
-The door is automatic.
-The door handles are accessible for wheelchair users.
-The elevator works appropriately.
-The hallway is wide enough for a wheelchair.
-All-gender bathrooms are available in the building.
-There is not a parking lot next to the building.

What might help:
-Braille signs.

- The office is in a hard to find and difficult to get to place on campus

Registrar’s Office

The Registrar’s office is in the Trinity commons, near the Summit Suites and Facilities Services; it’s primary job is to handle transfer credits from other institutions and AP credits.

Accessibility:
- Automatic door opener- making it easy for those in wheel chairs or height disabilities.
- There is no ramp- however the ground is very flat making it wheel chair accessible.
-There is seating near the office in case someone needs to rest.
-It is farther away from the main campus- making it difficult to reach. The route there is slightly up hill as well.

Queer Resource Center

The Queer Resource center is near Crescent Street near Stowe and Clemens hall; it is there for LGBTQ+ students as a resource.

Accessibility:
-There is a door bell in case someone cannot reach the door.
- Access to a ramp in the back is also possible.
-The stairs are somewhat steep, making it difficult for those with certain limitations.
-There are rails to hold onto for extra support.

Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement

Role/Purpose:
- Allows students to volunteer and strengthen connections with various partnerships that the college has with community spaces in Hartford.
- Students can join clubs that are affiliated with the department
Is it accessible to all students, including accommodations due to long or short term-effects of covid-19 (like remote access)? Describe:
- Elevator is located near to the office; however, the office is also in a relatively small corner
- Clear, readable signage
- Website is consistently updated with useful info & opportunities to get involved

Information and Technology

Inside the Library, on the Right as we enter.
The IT department allows the students to tackle any technical issues with their devices in terms of network issues, submission sites, ID card (renewal or damage), Media Project help, Course support, Classroom help and any general doubts related to technology.
It also has a lost and found for something that a student might lose in or around the area of the library.
It is accessible to all students, faculty and staff. The working hours on weekdays are 8:30am to 4:30 pm, and for weekends it is noon-3:00pm. If covid acts as a barrier in physically visiting, we can schedule online appointments or submit a request. They also have a zoom link for remote assistance.

The Underground Coffeeshop

The Underground Coffeeshop is located on the bottom floor of Mather Dining Hall. It serves as a student-run shop selling different types of drinks and is a social space for members of Trinity’s campus.

There are two entrances to the Underground: the main Mather doors and the side door entrance to Hamlin Hall. Going through the main Mather doors allows people to use the elevator. A ramp is also leading to the main entrance, making the coffee house wheelchair accessible. The partially spaced-out seating arrangement allows for as much of a COVID-friendly experience as a coffee shop can.

This fall semester, their hours are:

Wednesday: 8am-10pm

Thursday: 8am-10pm

Friday: 8am-6pm

Saturday: 8am-6pm
