         <description><![CDATA[<div>Roman architecture was different because the discovery of concrete, arches and vaulting. Before concrete, they used volcanic stone called tufa. It had an off-white color that made it look close to marble. They liked concrete because it took the shape to any mold they used, so the shapes were getting more and more creative.  </div>]]></description>

Other Roman buildings were more casual such as a house, a farmhouse, or even an apartment buildings. Romans even had aqueducts, which introduced more sanitary water to the society. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The Golden House was unique because Severus and Celer, the architects for Nero, were using concrete in exciting ways. They used it to create domed spaces. Not everything was made from concrete though, they had buildings made from marble as well.</div>]]></description>
