The criteria for this design was that our model had to be about 12 inches long and 3 inches wide. There are 2 cups underneath as boats to see if the boats or other vehicles would be able to get around without hitting the bridge and without letting the pennies fall.

Our constraint was that we only used the objects that were given to us. Then we had only one stand/ supporter holding the bridge when it touches the table.

We got 45 pennies stacked on our bridge. It didn't fall down but the cups underneath couldn't pass through. We got 55 pennies in the penny spread because they fell off.

I would want to build a beam bridge next time because although it has little detail, it looks like it has very strong support. I saw when other groups went up to present to the class.

I felt like I put a lot of work into making this bridge.
