The series consist of Cinder, Scarlet, Cress and Winter. Cinder, the first book, is a retelling of the famous fairytale, Cinderella. Instead of a glass slipper, our Cinder have a robotic foot because she is half cyborg. Not to mention the plaque. I read this when it was lockdown and it was such a coincidence to be reading a book about plaque. The series is very entertaining and sometimes an emotional read. I really love this series. I adores every main characters in the series. From Cinder to Winter. But of course, I have a favourite, which is Cress, the main character of the third book in the series. Cress is a retelling of Rapunzel. She didn't live in a tall tower like Rapunzel did. She live in a satellite, away from other people. Away from the people on earth and people on the moon. Yes, there are people who live on the moon, Lunar, and they have powers to change their looks. The second book, Scarlet is a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood and the fourth book, Winter is a retelling of Snow White.

It is a very enjoyable series. The story revolves around Jin Seok (played by Kang Ha Neul) and his "family." It starts with Jin Seok having a vivid dream and waking up inside a car. He is with his mother, father, and brother, Yoo Seok (Kim Moo Yul), on the way to their new house. As the story progresses, it will be revealed that his family is really not his family. At first, it seemed like the family was the villain as they put Jin Seok under hypnosis, but it turned out that they were a group of people who investigated a crime case from 20 years ago. What is the relation between the case with Jin Seok? There's going to be an unexpected plot twist. The main role for this movie are Cristina Rodlo (Ambar) and Marc Menchaca (Red). At this point in the film, Ambar has lost her mother and her death becomes Ambars’ hallucination caused by little sleep due to the disturbances in the home. From unknown crying coming from an old neighbour’s room to Becker banging on her bedroom door late at night, Ambar starts to find herself having nightmares of her mother, and the stone box seen in the beginning credits. After Ambar loses her job and she finds herself experiencing first-hand the presence of two unlikely visitors, Mary, who later is revealed to be the mother of both Becker and Red and an unknown woman. After leaving the boarding home in fear for her life, she contacts her distant cousin, who we meet earlier, in the film, in hopes of finding refuge with him. After being told he cannot help at that moment, she looks for Red to get her deposit back to seek help elsewhere. Ambar speeds across town looking for help and she is later eventually found by Red at a diner. He convinces her to drive back to the boarding home for her money back,which is just a trap to have her be there for the ritual Becker wants to accomplish with Ambar and the other two women living in the home. With Becker and Red successfully starting the ritual with one of the two other women, they attempt to sacrifice Ambar. Ambar lays on a stone block and dreams of her mother, like she has done many times throughout the movie, where the ‘demonic’ entity crawls out of the stone box seen again throughout the movie.The tense scene raises eyebrows and tension as this caterpillar-like creature crawls towards Ambar as she continues to dream of her mother, which is the ‘demon’ but in the form of her mother, to trap her in a trance and eventually eat her head off. Ambar escapes and finds Becker and Red preparing the next victim, where she then defends herself, kills Becker, and sacrifices Red to the unknown demonic creature. She leaves home with a sense of power from killing her captors and letting go of the past. Overall, with little to no jump scares, the movie will not traumatize you but will make you feel unsettled and question all the stone boxes you may see,the unsettling tone is the scariest thing next to that demonic entity.

Inseparable Bros is a 2019 South Korean sentimental comedy-drama film based on a true story about two disabled men directed by Yook Sang-hyo, starring Shin Ha-kyun, Lee Kwang-soo and Esom. The synopsis of this film is after spending almost 20 years together, two friends have definitely become family. Se Ha (Shin Ha Kyun) is the brains while Dong Goo (Lee Kwang Soo) is the brawns in their duo. They face many challenges living everyday life, but when they meet Mi Hyun (Lee Som), a swimming instructor at Dong’s local swimming pool, she becomes the first person to see them as human beings and not just their disabilities. Thing I like about the film is it points out that those who are physically and/or mentally disabled can still do things. Like how to plot is, both of them are disabled but for 20 years, they were able to survive through the help of each other. Not only that, they also showed that those who are disabled given the proper care is not a hindrance in the workplace.

Their storyline was based on a vampire concept which really piqued my interest. Many of their music videos were connected to each other. It is an inspirational story which stars Zulfani Fasha as Ikal, the main character in the film. This film is adapted from a best-selling novel entitled "Laskar Pelangi" by Andrea Hirata. This film tells about 10 children called Laskar Pelangi (Rainbow Troops) by their teacher. These children live in rural area, in a poor environment but their heart and imaginations are always rich. Ikal, a curly-haired young boy who has a dream to study abroad, his relations with his friends and teachers, and his struggles with his family financial condition. It teaches us to work hard and never give up to achieve their goals. I found this film very amazing and it is sure to appeal to all ages and it's worth seeing.

In the deep palace, she remains determined and slowly works her way up while perfecting her craft - she molded her excellent cooking skills ; while making friends and encountering an unexpected romance at the same time. Through her romantic entanglement with Zhu Zhanji, the drama also showcases the historical achievements and family life of three outstanding emperors of the Ming Dynasty, portraying a gourmet Forbidden City full of rich family affection, friendship, love and humanity. This drama will fill your eyes with palatable dishes while making your heart warm and full. I would recommend this drama to people out there .

A girl leaves the airport to return to her village to attend a wedding.  In the taxi, the girl remembered her childhood with her 5 friends.  In 1985, Asmawi, Bulat, Ketot, Budi and Ila were the 5 closest friends in the village.  All five of them have their own unique personalities and antics.  However, everyone knows that the most handsome Asmawi is their leader.
 As a group, they become strong because each has an advantage that no one else has.  Bulat is a big person, Ketot is a fierce person despite his small stature, Asmawi is a dedicated leader, Budi has a lively brain while Ila complements them all.

It is a classic remake of the Disney cartoon version of Mulan and was directed by Niki Caro. It stars Liu Yifei as Hua Mulan who disguises herself as a male warrior. It narrates the stories of a brave daughter who offered herself to replace her father to fight against northern invaders to protect the emperor from being killed. I love the character of the evil witch played by Gong Li. She's capable of morphing into different identities and it made it hard for Mulan to defeat her. I also amazed by the action and martial art sequences performed by the characters in the movie. Nobody can compete with Koreans when its comes to this genre.The story is so engaging that,You want to watch it in one sit. Mind blowing concept, perfect direction, a bit of humor, romance, suspense. It got it all. The whole plot at first seems so unreal until you don't want to believe it, but once the story progresses it will hook you!! And the hero of the story is-" THE VILLAIN" !!! He literally changes the whole plot. Every single action, puzzle have a answers. There are also a lot of twists and turns in W. Never get to comfortable because you just never know what’s going to happen in this crazy world!!
