         <description><![CDATA[<div>We started creating some logo ideas for toxic masculinity, and we created some ideas for sayings/motos that can go alongside the title of the promotion. We worked as a group of five to create a start to our logo.&nbsp;<br><br>Barriers&nbsp;<br>Our barriers were if the teacher will be accepting of our logo and does it represent unhealthy masculinity in a positive way. A barrier for me was that I was sitting at a desk that was further away from the laptop the group was creating the logo on, so I should've tried to be involved more in thinking of a logo.&nbsp;In the next class, I will sit closer and be more involved.<br><br>Enablers&nbsp;<br>The enabler was that we had a good start in thinking of a name for the logo, as it helped shape our idea of what the logo should look like if it's going to be seen by hundreds of people.&nbsp;<br><br>Evidence&nbsp;<br>Our teacher gave us some advice on our logo saying we should change it because there may be a campaign with the same name as "Boy"s Can". The rugby ball in the logo wasn't a good idea either as it's representing the logo from a rugby sporting perspective that rugby ball represents boys which isn't good because that's an example of toxic masculinity. So we changed it in another class session.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We got advice from our teacher that we should think of another logo name, I came up with a name called "Voice 4 boys" to represent that we are going to be a promotion that will speak up about unhealthy masculinity. We also found a photo underneath the logo name that has two boys standing next to each other that represents boys being there for each other. The words of the logo are colored plain black so the picture stands out more underneath. Some girls in our group emailed Richie Hardcore to see if he would like to come in and talk about toxic masculinity, The great thing Is that he replied back and also posted it on his Facebook to say how appreciative that people are coming to him to get his help to promote unhealthy masculinity to the boys. We also created a poster with our new logo and a picture of Richie Hardcore to be shown and put up around the school.&nbsp;<br><br>Barriers&nbsp;<br>A barrier was trying to find a name for the campaign that wasn't already made by other people online. Also trying to think of a name that suits the topic of unhealthy masculinity clearly. The Layout of an appropriate poster to be shown around the school. Searching websites were helpful in knowing what names were taken.&nbsp;<br><br>Enablers&nbsp;<br>was that we found a name called 'Voice 4 Boys' that I helped come up with. As this name was appropriate and not taken by other people for websites on the internet. <br>&nbsp;Richie Hardcore replied saying he would like to come in and present toxic masculinity, and posted the email sent from the girls on his social media!! <br><br>Evidence<br>evidence of the logo created is on one of my action plans as an image. <br><br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ella emailed Ruth Crampton who is in charge of the St Peters social media accounts, this was so we can make a start on what platforms we will be advertising our campaign on like Instagram, Facebook, etc. Ruth Crampton did not reply to Ella after all.<br><br>Barriers<br>The barrier is Ruth Cramton may not get back to us about the email, and we may not be able to advertise on social media. I'm going to try through my email account to get ahold of Ruth because an advertisement on the tv screen is important.&nbsp;<br><br>Enablers<br>If she does get back to us we would be able to start sharing our campaign around and get a good start of people being aware that there will be a toxic masculinity presentation for the year 10 boys.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Ainsley a couple of days ago, emailed Jason from the wellbeing team, to see if he could be an MC, which is to introduce our topic to the audience. Jason then confirmed he would be an MC.&nbsp;<br><br>Barriers&nbsp;<br>Jason may not reply to Ainsley and we wouldn't have somebody to introduce the guest speaker. If we didn't have an internet connection Ainsley wouldn't have been able to email Jason. If this was the case we would go to Jason in person and talk to him about being an MC.&nbsp;<br><br>Enablers&nbsp;<br>Jason replied and said he would like to be the MC, and now we have someone to introduce the guest speaker. This was one of Ainsley's actions, she just told me this was a step to having success for our presentation to go well.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I emailed Ruth Crampton, about having access to St Peters's social media platforms. In a few minutes, she replied!<br><br>Barriers&nbsp;<br>we weren't sure if she was going to get back to us, as on the first try she didn't reply. If she doesn't reply we may have tried to find her office to go see her in person.&nbsp;<br><br>Enablers&nbsp;<br>She replied back saying that we were welcome to access the social media and post our promotion poster. But I didn't get a chance to get back to her until me and my teacher sort out what we could say for a reply back.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I talked to my teacher about getting back to Ruth about sending through our poster, we have decided we are still finalizing it and will be sent out in a few days.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I emailed Ruth today in class about the format size for the poster so it's the correct fit for the display of the tv screen. If it doesn't fit properly it won't look as professional.&nbsp;<br><br>Barrier<br>knowing the size of the poster is crucial for the poster to look presentable on the screen and professional so people will be interested and attend. If she does not reply the same option is going to her in person when it comes to a point we need the size asap.&nbsp;<br><br>Enabler&nbsp;<br>sending the email to Ruth will reach her and she will hopefully tell us the sizing for the poster.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today Ainsley completed the tv screen advertisement poster, she sent it to me through e-mail I forwarded it to Ruth along with a paragraph reminding her what it's about.&nbsp;<br><br>Barriers: If there wasn't an internet connection today I wouldn't have been able to send it through to her to get approval. As this would have been a delay in getting the poster on the screen as soon as possible, if the connection was down there's also an alternative of mobile data, and home wifi after school.&nbsp;<br><br>Enablers&nbsp;<br>this is one step closer to advertising our Health promotion and guest speaker.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Yesterday I saw Ruth Crampon viewed our tv screen poster, and then forwarded it onto the school TV which is shown all around the school: RSE, dining hall, hockey turf, and audi foyer, so now more people are aware of Richie Hardcore and unhealthy Masculinity.&nbsp;<br><br>Barrier<br>&nbsp;We weren't sure Ruth was going to post the tv screen poster on to the TVs before next week, which is when the presentations are. If things were to get urgent we would go to her in person to ask her nicely.&nbsp;<br><br>Enabler<br>Now having an advertisement of the presentations, its now aware around the wider St Peters community.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Last lesson we spent putting up posters around the school campus which took us about an hour and also unfortunately missed 4th period. This was successful as I and Ella reached every area we could think of around the school that students are more likely to see it.&nbsp;<br><br>Barrier<br>It was a bit windy, so the papers may have become loose and peeled off.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Today we had Richie Hardcore come in today and talk to the Year 10 &amp; 11 boys. This went really well, he had a lot of enthusiasm, as he talked about stereotypical masculinity, what it means to be a man and violence prevention. I also emailed Ruth to post it on the St Peters Instagram and Facebook website, as that request worked out.&nbsp;<br><br>Barrier: Somebody other than Ash who is on the technical side of things, had to be in control of the presentation for Richie Hardcore because Ash wasn't on-site, other than that was the only issue.&nbsp;<br><br>Enabler: This presentation reached out to a majority of boys as they came up to Richie and said thank you, sounding like they were really touched by the topic.          <description><![CDATA[<div>On Thursday we had our presentation for the boys in their learning group time, as some of our group members set up quizzes, screen presentations, and Ka hoots with some chances to win some prizes. I handed out the cards afterward as a good amount of them took the card I was handing out and said "Thank you". The presentation went over time and the Ka hoot was rushed at the end, but overall it did have an impact on quite a few boys.<br><br>Barrier&nbsp;<br>time was limited when doing the presentations and quizzes' so it felt rushed and some of the boys maybe care more about their break time. Overcoming this barrier is letting it go over break time as this is more important as this was our last presentation.<br><br>Enabler&nbsp;<br>boys were engaged and all of them seemed to of participated some got quite excited while doing the ka hoot, and being the winners in the quizzes, as the motivation would have been prizes like chocolate.&nbsp;<br><br>Evidence&nbsp;<br>evidence of this being an impact is talked about by using the evidence from the Yr 10 boys survey, Healthy masculinity follow up. <br><br></div>]]></description>
