These actions can be short or long term. These are also able to take place at home, school, or out in their community. In the earlier years these understandings come form understanding themselves. They can do personal action (small scale makes a difference in the students life), collective action ( this makes a difference in the students, community members, and potentially beyond).  The examples of taking action are participation, advocacy, Social Justice, Social entrepreneurship, and Lifestyle choices.
