Comber can play a vital role in shaping Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Leadership-Management by ensuring that educational practices are grounded in the real needs of communities. For example, if future research can show that young children in a rural area lack preschool access, educational leaders can advocate for more funding or develop community-based preschools. I would like to conduct research and show the impact ECE Leadership-Management can have in Comber.

Regarding the renaming of strands, I agree with changing the name LIFE to C-BEG (community for Bridging Educational Gaps). The new name is inclusive of all research focused on solving educational challenges, regardless of the discipline.

ECD / ECE

Since the focus of COMBER is on communities, bringing change, collaboration and educational research I suggest the following:

1. A new name that includes all of the above and specifies our focus, ECD or ECE.

2. Dividing our subareas into sub-subareas and linking them with the other sub-areas in COMBER as depicted in the picture above.

3.I am awaiting feedback from our members and will give further feedback as soon as I receive their input.
