1. Pancakes are ancient food. The word
pancakes appears in print as early as 1430. 

2. Pancakes are an essential part of a classic American breakfast. One of George Washington’s breakfast foods were pancakes that literally in maple syrup. He would plunge each piece of his pancake under the syrup, sopping it good before he ate it. 

3. The first colonial settlers were taught by local Native American to make griddlecakes from Rhode Island Narragansett maize. These griddlecakes soon became a staple, known among the settlers as johnnycakes.

My Opinion:
My opinion on this is that the panckeques are very rich, and serve for an essencial meal at breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:

– 150 g flour 
– 1/2 salt teaspon 
– 50 g butter 
– 2 sugar spoonful 
– 200 g milk 
– 2 eggs 
– 1 Royal teaspon 

to begin I start pouring milk and I cut the butter in little pieces to shake it easily.
once it´s dissolved I pour the rest of the ingredients: eggs, sugar, salt, flour and the last one: Royal. you have to beat everything until you get a liquid dough (you´ll see what I´m talking about when I say liquid dough in one of the pics bellow)
once you get the perfect dough, you have to use butter at the pan (take care with the heat, I usually put it at 6) the first pancake will be a hero, and it will sacrificed for the other ones, I usually use it to absorve the butter excess. after that, the pan will be ready to cook the rest of the pancakes.
and… it´s finished! you already have many pancakes to eat! you can combine them with sugar, syrup (chocolate syrup it´s my favorite one) with fruits…and much more combos! ingredients:

Natural pineapple.
Cooked ham.
Fried tomato or tomato sauce (if it is homemade, you already embroider it).
Fresh mozzarella
Various spices: oregano, pepper, basil, rosemary ...

preparation:
- First of all, make a pizza dough, as we taught you in the article: «How to prepare a pizza dough«.

- Half an hour before preparing the pizza, dry the mozzarella ball very well and cut it into very thin slices. Leave them on a plate with absorbent paper to remove the whey and dry before making the pizza.

- Cover the pizza dough with a layer of tomato sauce and sprinkle the spices over the tomato. If you do not want to buy all these spices you can buy a combination of pizza spices with which you will give a special touch to all your pizzas.

- Next, spread the mozzarella slices over the entire surface of the pizza, leaving the entire edge free, so that when baking it can grow.

- Cut the pineapple into small cubes and the cooked ham into very thin slices. And spread them evenly over the mozzarella.

- If you like spices, you can again sprinkle a little oregano on top.

- Put the pizza in the oven, previously preheated to 250 degrees, and place it on the base of the oven on a piece of baking paper. Bake it for 3 minutes. After this time, you can check that the dough is browned underneath, if not, bake it for 2 more minutes. Once it is ready, place the pizza in the upper part of the oven and bake two more minutes so that the ham is browned.

ingredients:

3 cups grated mozzarella cheese
2 cups of ham, minced
20 cups pineapple, peeled and chopped
1 medium discs for homemade or ready-made oven patties
1 egg, yolk and white separated and lightly beaten

preparation:
1 Mix cheese, ham, and chopped pineapple in a medium container.

2 Start filling in the empanadas. Put a little of the cheese, ham and pineapple mixture in the center of the discs.

3 Preheat oven to 400 ° F

4 Use a pastry brush and paint the edges of the discs with the egg white.

5 Fold the discs and seal the edges using a fork.

6 Using the same brush, paint the top of the empanadas with the beaten egg yolk, to give them a golden color when they are baked.

7 Refrigerate the empanadas for half an hour, to help seal them.

8 Bake the empanadas for 20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
