         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Crucible, written by the great American playwright, Arthur Miller, is commonly studied in high school Language Arts classrooms.&nbsp; While the play is filled with history, scandal and questions of morality--making it a high interest read for many students--the text is fairly complicated in its rich inclusion of multiple historical events.&nbsp; The play largely serves as social commentary; therefore it is important the students understand the play on multiple levels.&nbsp; </p><p>This page provides links to resources meant to assist in instruction as well as several assignment ideas, act quizzes, and video.</p>]]></description>
